Only listed one ebay item - decided to pop off to Tesco for the time being and get the shopping in. I'm sure later this evening with a glass of vino in my hand, I'll be able to come up with far more imaginative descriptions

Thanks Gailey:j
I have 5 creditors to go with a total of around £6k to go.
In terms of moving to Oz - I am being sponsored so I don't need to have a certain amount of cash or savings to get in. We will be selling our UK house but don't expect to get a'lot out of the sale as we have a secured loan (old old pre MSE days mistake) to pay in addition to repaying our mortgage. Never mind - we will also have our car to sell and will be saving from now.
Credit rating all starts afresh in Oz - will make no mistakes this time around. Hoping to be there July 2012.:DLBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

Selling the house Skint - we won't get much out of it as we took a secured loan pre MSE days:mad:, and together with that and repaying our mortgage don't expect to get more than 10-15k out. Never mind I'm sunshine bound with a shiny new credit rating and a fantastic new life.

In the current climate have you thought about renting then selling when the market picks up, we having to do that with our 2 bedder, and I am figuring that I may as well leave it as a long term thing now, as pensions are worth squat!
Ah yes, the sunshine life. Fantastic stuff!Trying to shift that debt!0 -

We did consider it but to be honest we will need the little money we will get out of it to get set up in Oz. Sad but true - also don't really have anyone in Scotland we could trust to look after the rental!
Never mind - clean break means we will be less inclined to bail out and come back home at the first hurdle.
