Just remember not to take bankers drafts for the car and check the notes VERY carefully....As I know someone got done with a fake bankers draft when they sold their car....
Yeah to the paperwork being sent off. Ref the winter fuel allowance I thought that just got paid automatically if you were over a certain age?

Winter fuel allowance is more or less automatic, but you do have to fill in a form and tell them how you want it paid. Ditto free bus pass - you have to apply for it.
