    Good ! also any ppi on your loan ?

    My brother has just got told hes getting 400 odd back from halifax on his loan and is expecting an even larger sum from another loan he had for PPI.

    no, my loan is quite recent and I applied online, so wasnt mis sold.

    i am going through all my charges though online and about to use a template letter to send off to the bank. Should be interesting!

    Did you use the calculator on the page to work on the interest ? It would be amazing if you got that all back. Def try what it says about not accepting the first offer and get as much back as you can !

    Thanks Claire, Im going to do that today...its on my todo list!

    Spent a bit of time on dooyoo yesterday, have about £20 on it so far. its enough for amazon but i think id rather wait til I hit £50 for a cheque!
    Anyway heres my list for today

    review a few more things on dooyoo and remember to rate some others
    take pictures for ebay
    list at least 10 items
    tidy and hoover bedroom
    do some washing
    update spreadsheets and check banking, its the 1st of the month
    update signature on here
    list bank charges and get letters sorted
    get DS passport application from headteacher
    pick up money from childminder

    so all in all a pretty busy day today! ill update a bit later!

    I won a prize I won a prize!! I just won a competition to win a copy of Slumdog Millionaire and the book that goes with it. WOHOO!! And...I also won a set of childrens books from another website. something is saying that good luck comes in 3's

    Therefore I have sent my letter to the bank today to claim £3258.59 in charges and interest. Now that is alot of money! Heres hoping!

    Thanks Kerron, I am hopeful and to be honest would be happy with half (just dont tell RBS that!)

    my lists aint going too bad, have done couple dooyoo reviews and some surveys, managed to redeem £5 from one, and I have about £25 on dooyoo so far, waiting for that magic £50 lol

    Having looked at the money thing, I have decided that there is definately £1k left over...all the bills are out and we get paid on Friday...very good sign!

    Anyway, its my birthday today, and I feel that this is a new start for me, I will not accrue any more debt this year, and will be well on my way to living the dream by the time the next one comes around (plus i got pressies and breakfast in bed lol)
