Lou I have been really really good but didn't loose a single pound at last weigh in grrrrrrrrr

My consultant said that she would love to weigh people fortnightly or even monthly as it evens out the weight loss and gives a truer reflection of what is happening, I agree with Lenza that it will show next week:D

I also think its easier to "stick" when you havent got a great deal to lose IYSWIM.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

Hi Lou - shame about the weather but hope you still had a good time
    Sally - it'll probably show next weigh-in!
Hope everyone's doing ok. I had a really nice walk along Saltburn beach yesterday :T followed by,erm, fish & chips :D! They weren't very good though so I didn't eat it all :A

Well OH and I shared a chinese takeaway last night and we did eat it all:o:rotfl: In all fairness though we only had breakfast and a muffin all day and we did drive for 9 hours.

Back on the wagon today though eh?:T

Thats probably true Lou..the woman doing the weigh in said "well you don't have much to loose" so I replied well actually I am in the overweight category so I need to loose a stone! Anyhow doesn't matter how much I have to loose the point is the plan should work according to them! I have to say I am slightly sceptical.

I mean on a green day considering a "portion" 75g of pasta is around 300cals and enough to feed a fly given the freedom to eat however much you want I know I can eat 3 times that probably. Then you have that or something carb related for supper you could easily eat over 1500 cals a day and therefor not loose any weight!
I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

I am as flummoxed as you are to be honest Sall and I have the same amount as you to lose, and I do stick some weeks despite following the plan 100%

I too am sceptical but have also seen people in group lose week after week (they are much better behaved that I am).

Losing 3 lbs last week was amazing, we both did it so I am going to treat that as 2 weeks losses just to make me feel a bit better when I maintain or put on this week.

    Hi everyone
feeling a bit like a pro after the 50 pound loss, got a long way to go, but it will be worth it. Honestly it does get harder, I have had two plateaus already, and when you're still big thats very depressing, but I aim small, usually for my next half stone, and then look to the next, so it doesn't feel so big. Good luck all with the weight loss!

Hi all sorry to post once and disappear had forgotten to check the thread, have subscribed but don't seem to have got any email through...

Anyway I went for my weigh in on Thursday evening thought I might not have lost anything or even gained as I've been on a course all week and they've been providing lunch - sandwiches and crisps!! Also have to confess to having had a chocolate bar nearly every day!! Anyway was pleasantly surprised to find I had lost 1lb and was slimmer of the week!!

Anyone mind if I join in?

I'm going to try and follow it all from home with my old books at first and depending how I get on I might go back to class.

I have a lot to lose and having lost nearly 5 stone with it last time I know it works, how it works I don't know, but it does.

Today will be my first day and I am off food shopping to create some wonderful meals.
