I'm back - quick and easy and I was fine. Did a bit of shopping as I had to park in the shopping mall carparkt.

I brought my first Christmas present of the year - reduced to £2

Soappie carry on now this bit is for you - I walked past a coffee shop called 'BBs muffins' and opposite the probate office was a library - couldn't resist popping in and they have parish records - it is the right area (the tebworth/chalgrave connection) so I scribbled down some notes but I may need to go back - nearly took my files with me today - so wish I had now!

Toots - thanks for the virtual hand holding, I felt you squeeze tight as I had a wobble going up the stairs

Thanks for all the updates on the houses.

Off to tennis now to see if DS3 is finished.

Think my potatoes have blight so they will be being pulled up later or tomorrow depending on the next shower.

• [STRIKE]forgot to order prescription from GP[/STRIKE] - also requested form for medical exemption of charges as have lost mine from years ago but now being asked for it every time.

DD has made a cup of tea so I will declutter this - have also spoken to the Boss and will decide how I get on over the weekend to see if can reeturn to work on Monday.

As we're away so much we use it rarely and it's a days job a week to keep right. Inside the additional rooms utility/conservatory/garage just get filled with junk. The savings in rent/water/council tax are well over £300 a month! Will cost me in diesel to get DS2 to school as we're keeping him at the school here for now so that will be 16 miles a day (4 miles away) but overall we'll be saving money. We're keeping the holidays, as I would get very litle done with 2 boys under my feet, DP will come back on weekends to do stuff (he'd better do it!!!) Matthew's parents helping too hopefully (they are so nice and said leave us the keys and we'll see what we get done before you come home) and we're keeping both houses on until end of September to allow us the time we need. It will cost money but I want the house right BEFORE we move in inc removing woodchip paper! We haddn't used the paints we bought for here yet so I only need backing paper, gloss and paint for DSs rooms.

Anyway thats my update for now, been messed about with the car they think there is something wrong with the diesel pump so can't have it before we go away. Need to tidy up and get packed today/tomorrow.

((hugs all round)) sorry not got time to read through the threads at the minute with so much on but I do appreciate your never failing support x x

elf06 wonder if the local childrens ward could help? They got my son to take tablets from 4 years old.

PS anyone know how I can find out who are the current gas/elec suppliers for the house??

It will be on your property info forms which your seller gave to their solicitors. I am very jealous but all the best for your new home:beer:

Did mine yesterday morning at 6am:eek: and I spent a similar amount including 2 bedside table which i have bought to go in the house I thought we were moving too soon:mad: Hope we sell ours soon so I can still live there and put them there.

Toots - when you have a moment, I have done the Utility room. Though the floor's s probably going to be trashed in half an hour what with the rain and the animals walking in and out.

Sponge is cooked and nearly cooled. Just need to cut it into fingers and make the jelly part then I can nip next door to see NN and Gordon

We have looked at the weather forecast and have revised our plans to go to the caravan tomorrow morning so will try to do as much from my list before I go.

Looks like I need to do the bathroom then- might be lazy and do the floor, sink and loo while the kids are in the tub and then do the tub when they are in bed:rotfl:
Think I will do half hour packing instead- now do I pack summer things or wellies???:rotfl:

I have done pretty much nothing from my list... our HR systems have been down all day, and I had a sleep during the thunderstorm rather than flying

I suppose I should go and do some shopping now, but I'm still feeling very sleepy! Hopefully my energy will come back tomorrow...
