Are any flyladies in Liverpool - Im looking for a PC on the cheap as my laptop is teeny weeny. There are some on Ebay but its much cheaper to pick up. Was wondering if there are any flyladies in that area?

Or any areas really that would be happy to collect for me and I could collect from them in two weeks when Im on my way back to Scotland?

    xx

Sorry, I know its not flying related, but would be very helpful. xx

Or stockport?? I dont even know where that is.....***goes off to find a map***

I live in Stockport. Depends which area of Stockport it is though as it could take 45 minutes to get to the other side as we're on the outskirts. Can you get a postcode or an area within Stockport?

LOL, I will tell her you said that! She is a brilliant gardener, she took over my parents garden at the age of 10, under my mum's guidance, and went to horticultural college when she was old enough, and did work experience at a National Trust place. She left college with all her qualifications, and started working for herself straight away even tho loads of people said it would be too hard to work for herself. She's very determined and knew what she wanted! She is good, she's very popular with little old ladies who might be a bit scared to have a strapping big bloke coming round every week, and she hardly ever has to do any advertising, it's just grown and grown by word of mouth.

I'm feeling quite a bit better today altho I'm a bit quesy (how do you spell that?) , have done some washing up and have been watching Fern's last morning on This Morning - I'm so sad she's leaving, she's so lovely. Phil Schofield is all tearyeyed, he nearly lost it then

hugs Dusty, hope the probate goes through easily

Sounds like she is living my dream.

When I retire in a few years :o I want to go to Agricultural college and study or what ever it will be called in the future, grass / turf management and get a chain saw certificate!! I always fancy using one of those large chain saws and cutting down big trees that are old and sick!! :rotfl:

I just love mowing grass as well.

I was lucky this week as I was able to visit in the course of work Northampton Rugby club, and they have just had their pitch relaid and it is lovely, but they are currently cutting it twice a day, spent more time talking about the grass than what I went there for!! :D

Just wondering what everyone's houses are like and how it affects your flying (and because I'm nosey :rotfl:)?
We live in a 3 bed late 1970's build house, upstairs there are 3 bedrooms (all double, even the small one can fit a double plus furniture in, this is the storage room, and DS and us have a room each also), a bathroom (big and spacious, as we don't have a bath in it, only a shower), a nice walk-in cupboard (my wardrobe!), stairs are half and half with a wee landing in the middle, downstairs is a long lounge/dining area, kitchen, hall cupboard (big), downstairs toilet, porch at front and small porch/utility at the bag. House is stuck to another similar style but smaller house as part of a row of 7 (I think). We have a decent sized garden 3/4 way round (larger than a lot of the other gardens ;)) with a big shed (DH's house lol) and are trying to grow up shrubs etc. Drying green at the back and the wind gets the stuff great there!
The house is reasonably organised but we do have things like buggies, high chair, DS toys etc that can take up space....they all have a proper place though so it does not get too out of hand!
Overall the house is big enough for plenty of room for storage and living, but not too big to keep on top of.
