Dusty - wishing you good coping vibes for the probate stuff tomorrow
Carlsberggal - Toots's advice about the bank statements is spot on
meeting was very interesting and went on longer than I thought so I'm glad I had dinner before I left. But it was a smallish room with about 60 people in it and so I'm really hot now! It's actually nice to see so many people united in one cause (turning over of a community centre to council offices). The leader of the council looked quite uncomfortable on occasion! Hopefully the strength of feeling will help sway the Council's opinion.
Off to see Gordon for a night capI am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Thanks for the votes of sympathy. Have had chips, cheesecake, a shandy and a good cry so am feeling better now. You are right Toots regarding the survey. we are off to Bridlington on Sat morning for a week so when we get back we have made a list of the big things we are going to do
- get electrics tested as we have lost the original certificate:mad:
- get in touch with building regs ddepartment to check our builder got building regs approval for our kitchen/dining room knock through as we have lost papaerwork for this too:mad::mad:
- pay for soffits and fascia and guttering ourselves and not knock as much off asking price next time:rolleyes:
- do the little minute things the survey also picked up which can be done in a weekend!
the first 2 major things we were willing to get sorted out for our buyer but she didn't even give us chance. Feel really stupid for not keeping receipts, especially as the electric one was sent to mortgage company as part of mortgage retention which was released, and I didnt chase up its return:o
Anyway here is the remains of my list not including todays as I have been to local lake and had nice day with kids to take my mind off things and try to cheer myself up!
