    School's out for summer....Yay!!:j

Actually, I had a call for a day's supply tomorrow, but was feeling so shattered I turned it down. I'm vaguely regretting it now!

DS1 was in school all day with me, scanning in stuff for us for 6 solid hours, terribly boring. There were no lessons today, as there were all sorts of reward assemblies, trips, and a fair as well going on. As I'm not a tutor, I spent most of the time doing admin.

    Back to flying tomorrow...

:hello:Hi to all my flylady friends!

I sure was I'll find the link and add it in a minute.

Swimming done, dinner done, just waiting for DS2 to get back from his trip to Thorpe Park.

Think I'll do a HHC and get the bathroom done.

Tomorrow I need to go to the court to get Probate for Nan's Estate so that will be a lot of the day taken up. I think I might find it quite hard, I know from before it makes it all even more final.

    Blackcurrant cordial

I like this recipe because not only does it taste good, it also doesn't involve boiling the blackcurrants, which destroys the vit C content.

    2lb blackcurrents
    1 pint water

Put both in a big bowl. Mash the blackcurrants.
    Cover with a clean cloth.
Leave 2-3 days in a cool, dark place.
Place the bowl over a saucepan of boiling water, let the mixture warm through and stir well to release the juices.
    Strain through a muslin cloth.
Measure the liquid and add 12 oz sugar for 1 pint liquid. Heat v. gently to dissolve the sugar.
    Pour the liquid into bottles.
Keeps 6 weeks in the fridge or can be frozen.

Not much flying occuring here today but finished work contract at school today so 7 weeks to get a firm grip on the situation.

My pedometer arrived from Amazon and have managed 5268 steps since 1pm - not too bad as walked loads this morning.

GOing to have a bit of a surge of energy on the flying front for the next hour or so. Hope everyone else is having a good day!!

Well have just had 2 awful days and the result is that my house is back on the market due to a very fussy buyer who has been looking for over a year and wants an old house which does not require any maintenance. I would like a self cleaning house with a money tree in the back garden but then we can all dream cant we.

i spent an hour with her yesterday going through the survey report in minute detail to the point where I must have bit my tongue so mnay times. Sent hubbie out of the way as I know he was at end of tether with her and would have told her to persist off!:rotfl:
I also spent 3 hours cleaning nad tidying before she came and 2 hours ironing after she left (made me feel a bit better) Hopefully now we know where we stand i will sleep tonight and have had something to eat today too. On a positive note i have lost 3 and half pounds this week without even trying so if you want to lose weight ladies put your house up for sale:rotfl:
I actually feel relieved for my neighbours too as they are nice. The crazy woman also wanted to bring her dogs to look at the garden to see if they liked it pmsl Good riddance
Now rant over I am off to search for my list, the chip shop and my bottle of Gordons!
