  • Afternoon all

Thankyou for the hugs - I really do feel a bit less sleepy now..... but still I have to go out now to get the anti virals and some food for the ever hungry teenagers

As you say Natty - I think we should seriously think about finding 5 "flu friends", unfortunately I don't have 5 friends locally..lol. And I don't like asking the neighbours in the road.. Shall have to think carefully on this one.

    I
live in a village and all my friends live in the other direction - so no one around to get the drugs..... I am planning to take DS with me so I will drive and he can hop out to collect and do shopping - that reminds me as he has the memory of a gnat when it comes to househld things - i should write a lsit for the shopping!

Greenbee - you said that offices are germy places - how rght you are. They all think I am a fresh air freak at work as I fling open the wondow whenever I get inot the office - mind you it only opens to a width of 4 inches so not a lot of airflow and no air con. Mind you we are all out of the office at some point during most days- too much of a waiting list to see the children to spend too much time writing paperwork.

I will catch again later as I have now declutter 3 cream crackers and half a cup of tea so should now face the out side world!!

Sunnygirl- when are you going to Caernarfon?

We're going either Friday 14th or Saturday 15th August. I might go myself with the girls a couple of days earlier but DH has got to work until the Friday. Are you going there too?

    Me...hope you're feeling better soon.

Soappie...meant to say...would be happy to offer tea and cake on your way to Toots if it helps. Check the flylady map to see where I am.

Valli & fedup...hope alls gone well today for you both....just seen your post Valli...glad it was OK. Hopefully it'll be good news. Fingers crossed.

Don't think I'll post my list yet as I've not done much on it for yesterday and today, so I'll post what I have done.
    • emptied and cleaned out bins in kitchen
    • swept and mopped kitchen and hall
    • cleared and wiped surfaces in kitchen
    • cleared the landing
    • put a wash on
Will be off to school shortly and DD1 has got a friend coming for tea as her mum (my friend) has had a minor operation this morning. I assume all has gone well but I wont' see her until I drop off her DD at 6pm. Myself and two friends had clubbed together and got a big box of chocolates and a lovely bunch of sunflowers for her so I'll take them round with me then.

DD2's awake now so I'll see you all after the school run.

5 things to achieve for the week :

Make a start on turbolisting things (minimum ten by Saturday)
    Mow (strim!) the entire lawn
Clean hutch including the ground below
Get all paperwork under control and filed it's underway
Mop the kitchen and hallway this time (keep failing)

MACAW to keep on top of the dishes after each meal and while cooking too. - getting better at this, gradually!

I took some clothing that I had been saving for ebay to the charity shop, looked at it with fresh eyes and decided they weren't very 'new' looking. More hassle trying to sell things like that, and can't be bothered to take clothes to a car boot sale.
I did some filing and also cleared out some old school files from my daughter's folder.

valli how bl**dy inconsiderate of the third candidate making you wait for your job a bit longer. - *go away* vibes sent to 3rd candidate!!! Aunty thats the thing I havent been overdoing it by any standards! I couldnt think of anything that had changed and then it dawned on me - I actually think I have found the cause - I am on new medication that has to be increased every 2 weeeks - it was increased on thursday and the first of me not feeling right was friday evening - so this morning when i was doing my morning pills I read the leaflet for side effects on the new tablets and low and behold - shivers/ chills and 1 or 2 other things that I have had are highly probablt side effects - so i will be telling the consultant next week so that he can decide what to do.

have had a visit from the woman that will be doing my cleaning from next week - she will be fine - she works fro my friend that has a B&B so I knew she would be ok and she lives fairly close so it will fit just fine. and she's cheaper!!!

    WM on
have sorted out a couple of appointments for next week and transport to the hospital.
going to fill bins for the rest of today as all 3 go out tomorrow and I like them to be full!! Thats general household, garden, and paper

    back later
    toots xx
    Peace will be mine

I hung the washing out and so DD and I got playing for an hour. Then the dark cloud came and rained us off :D Wet washing back in :p
    I also managed to:
    - Put the bath mat and wash cloth to soak in bleach
    - Do a quick tidy in the kitchen
    - Remembered several times to take things upstairs that belong there each time I went up! :j :rotfl:
Was out of action over lunchtime however, due to baby not wanting to go to sleep as too many things to see (!) and poor DD having a tired screaming match (not taking too well to having to share mum )
We have potential buyers viewing the house tomorrow as well so eek to that too...
Love and compassion to all x

Carlsberggal hugs to your Oh i hope he's ok now.

Toots i'm glad you're feeling a bit better, please don't overdo it though;).

I've been to see Neveah and had a lovely fish finger sandwich in the pub with my other Sister. It was very yummy. I haven't managed to find a lid for the cistern i think Ds2 will have to confess:cool:.
