    Morning all,

But, the plus is, that even though I have inherited ALOT of excess clutter. I am free to do what I want with it and I know there is a fair bit of money to be made there, through ebay and boot sales:D So it should help towards the financing of some of the furniture I still need.;)

Oh............ is it only me then who's kids don't break up for the summer holidays until this Friday the 24th?

Good luck with your money making plans. Mine have broken up and have neigh on 7 weeks off.

Need to find my list and hop in the shower as I need to take DS2 to the carboot and as I need to park in Mr T I'll pop in there - only visit him about 6 times a year.

Soappie - it's2.1kg but I simmered it for an hour first to make sure it wasn't salty and it's in the oven gas 4-5. Does that help any?

If you've already simmered it for an hour and it got put in the oven straightaway (i.e. didn't have a chance to cool too much) then it should be done in just over an hour in the oven.

ETA but let it 'rest' wrapped well in foil for 15 minutes or so when you take it out the oven

  • Well that HHC did not go so well - started to feel really carp - all tired and headachey again. I realised I missed my dose of Tamiflu last night and maybe they are related.

    So i managed to do:

    one load of wahsing up
    wipe up most of this
sort and put in a load of washing
make something to eat - found cheese and crackers and tiny baby plum toms
    make a cup of tea
    find Tamiflu pills

Have taken capsule and eaten half of planned breakfast - have no appetitie at all - and now feel sick not sure if it is the food or the pill. _pale_

    morning all

got up about 8.30am and so far have decluttered two episodes of casualty from the sky box, swept the kitchen floor, put the chicken in and done and hung up a load of washing.

I think DH might have the flu. Has some of the symptoms, my mum says temp is the first symptom and i'm pretty sure he has that (we don't have a thermometer but i'm going to go and get one/borrow one from MiL). He is worried he can't take a week off work as he has the audit to prepare for which is in 2 weeks. we have his 16 year old cousin coming for lunch and it's too late to cancel him. I'll open lots of windows!

my other plans for today are to clean the bathroom and wash all the towels etc.
