Boddy - glad you enjoyed your stewarding. And stars are ordinary people too! The friend who's 40th it was yesterday, one of her daughters is going out with a local sort of celebrity entrepreneur. Yesterday, when DD and I were waiting outside for the taxi to take us to the station, he parked up in the road and walked down towards friend's house, obviously on the way to the party. DD said she thought it really strange that people like him went to ordinary anniversary celebrations!
Well, I'm home, have slept and am awake and not at all hungover. I could had done with a couple more hours sleep but my body clock won't let me. I might have a nap this arvo. Do at friend's was lovely and the hen night was great fun. We had a lovely meal at a turkish restaurant in Islington.
Sis was presented with a flaming sambuco by the staff and told she had to get up on a chair and dance. Which she did! We then went and had a glass of wine in a pub then it was catch a cab for the 10.30 train. Got home about 12:45 in the end. All in all, it was a good day. But I feel filthy (always do when I come home from London!) so am going to jump in the bath in a mo then putting the bedding in the wash.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life
