Evening everyone. Ive really enjoyed doing my stewarding job today. I was a stewarding a parade through a city centre. Then at a festival which was great. Managed to catch up with people I hadnt seen in ages. It was very very muddy so glad I wore my walking boots. I sheltered under a tree during a downpour and someone else was under. I thought she was familiar then realised she is a well known actress in one of the soaps. Quite incognito. Quite down to earth and we just chatted for about 15 minutes.

The only flying Ive done is put my muddy jeans in the wash. Also decluttered a Chinese takeaway.

Toots Soory to hear you didnt get your manicure but glad you had a lovely day with Jo,her mum and DS.
poohbear59. Ive had my heating on a couple of times recently for a short while.
valli That was really good. I would love to see something like that.
    Soappie That trifle looks delicious.

Had a nice afternoon drinking tea in the garden with my friend and then we took the kids to Pizza Express for dinner. Our OH are at an airshow with DS1.

For those of you who were interested, it appears that no-longer-a-friend is no longer living with her husband. He moved out to think about things after she told him barely one-tenth of what she has done over the last couple of years and he has now found out the whole truth. I really feel for him as he always seemed a nice man but the other side of me is relieved she's been found out.

It must be really hard for him but like you say she's not got her cake and eating it anymore.

    For those with a wii:

The kids are having 1 for Christmas (good job Soappie's out) we want a Wii and Wii fit - what else do we need? Tesco have Wii, sports and wii fit for £220 which doesn't seem too bad.

We have 2 controllers which fit on a recharging stand which we find convenient. Some games need the nun chuck things (one for each player controller)
ok that is the stars and hearts finally updated to 1211!

I need a heart please as I've done my gardening job. Two of the others on my list I've started and hope to finish tomorrow. Also hope to get one if not two more stars tomorrow.

Toots/Jo sorry your day did not go to plan but glad you enjoyed yourselves

    Evening everyone

Not been on for a few days as DH has been home, he's hurt his back so I've not been able to do the jobs I wanted to do as I've had to look after him [it's been a pleasure]

Hugs to everyone who needs them, hope those of you that have been on days out have enjoyed them

I have loved reading about your homes - good luck to those of you who want to or are moving - I couldn't face doing that again!

We live in a 3 bed house, it was a 2 bed but the second bed was split into 2 so one of the rooms is quite small but its my favourite room in the house and when DH is snoring and DS is on a sleep over at nans then its the room I love to sleep in

Can I have another heart please - I've done the thank you notes!! Thank you

Going to have the curry that DH has managed to cook tonight

Hope you have all had a lovely day and that tomorrow is good for you all

    Helen

PS - not able to fly tomorrow as its the one day in a fortnight that DH and I get to spend together [as in no children] so going walking and doing the Garden and also going to bake some bread and 2 cakes
 to all those who have been in the pub!!

    evening all

Today is the first day of my holiday (teacher) and have a huge box of goodies from my lovely class, lots of choccies, wine, biscuits, candles, jewellery, photo frames (two very gorgeous ones!!) I am so lucky!!! I have spent the day watching Gok's fashion fix on 4ondemand fantastic, the only flying I have done is to swish and swipe the bathroom and unload the dishwasher, oh and I fitted a new loo seat (how glam is my life???)

I have started a list for the holidays, have been promoted to assistant head so will need to be ultra organised when we go back to school .... eeek.... scary thought.... hey ho, off to bed now

    will be flying tomorrow!!!
Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last

    Hi all,

Thanks for all the hugs and advice. Ds1 seems fine about it but he's a typical boy and doesn't say much:rolleyes:. I'm not going to do anything about it this time but if it happens again i will.

Well done Msgnomy:beer: enjoy your presents.

OH came over earlier to have a bottle of wine and watch a film etc;). I had a glass of wine then led on his lap to watch the film. I just woke up now and he's gone:eek:. I think i'm going to be in trouble :o.
