Flatjack (flapjack, obviously - but it looks fairly flat LOL) has been made. DD has gone to Derby to see her cousin in a dance show and 4 teenagers are snogging in my lounge (in pairs);)
so it looks like I can get on with stuff in other rooms (yeah right)
Apparently Neil looked rather yummy on coast t'other night so I might tootle over to the i-player...

Valli - my house (flat, when ex husband and I split up) was always like that, had at least 4 kids stop every fri and sat. DD's bedroom was very small and we once managed 6 girls in there sleeping. Two in the bed and the rest on the floor. Anymore and they slept in the living room in sleeping bags. Would rather know where they were. All good kids, boys and girls, used to have a good chin wag with them all. They all have me as a 'friend' on facebook but not their parents LOL. Bit older now so we don't have it anymore and I DO miss it, madhouse but great at the same time

Well I've made some progress! Luckily it all seems to be fairly clean underneath the mess... I suppose I should think about supper, which needs to be very light as I haven't really expended much energy today!

I'm with you Carlsberg... the girls have gone now and I have just been chatting to DS's mate - who has given me the lowdown about his dad, stepmum, mum and life. I too would rather have them here TBH and DS has said he wasn't expecting me to be like I am with girls he brings...I am just matey with them - not least because I don't want them to skulk and be secretive...and Ds's mate says he would rather bring his GF here actually so I suppose I am a cool mum then.
Not quite grown up yet - they've got the lego out now...

and one of my things that finished tomorrw has 17 watchers and is now at more than I thought it would get :T:T
