May be just cant take the truth, as they say the truth hurts. They are usless, and should be disbanded, it would save the country £M and save the lives of people as well. It would also help kids that are now prevented from seeing both parents by one that sees the other as a meal ticket!

Maybe I just can't be bothered to argue with you I have better things to do, think what you like.:wall:

People will. And generally they speak as they find. Frankly a disproportionate number of CSA " customers " are not happy with what they have found.

I wouldn't want to try and defend the indefensible either. Bottom line, it's a disgrace of a government agency that has now been factored out effectively. And the worst thing is their powers keep increasing. Which is needed for the extreme cases but will more than likely be applied to those who do not deserve it.

All the good ideas they could have taken from similar schemes have been ignored and the bad ones adopted. I certainly don't blame front line staff. I blame the legislator.

If maintenance is set at eg £110 per week why does NRP have to pay it all?Or in some cases more than that?

If PWC is working should they not contribute towards this £110 per week needed?

Thanks for any advise give folks.

Well i can tell you are the NRP if you think that amount is covering all the child's costs!

Are there 2 CSA's or something? because the csa i applied to to attempt to get maintanance for my 2 children haven't sorted anything..I applied 2 years ago.
My children's father works and has no other children living with him, just his gfriend.
If he looked after the children, just spent time with them or had them stay over once in a while i would be grateful for that and wouldn't bother with csa. But he doesn't.
Sorry don't mean to hijack your thread, just reading all these angry NRP who have to shell out a bomb for their children and i cannot get a penny from my ex, with or without csa. If my ex is getting away with it, can't see why every other nrp can't as well.
  • Just out of interest, does anyone know how much the state pension or dole is a week?

Dole for a single person is £64 and a few pennies per week.

I think a little bit of honesty from the workers / agency wouldn't go amiss - for example how many people have been told 'oh your caseworker has gone home for the day' when we know damn well that they are there - how many people have seen information on their data protection files that is completely incorrect or isn't recorded at all

and I notice that mommarat hasn't been back to answer any of my questions

anyone else care to defend the 'workers' (I use the term loosely) ?

I will defend those who do work hard and there are lots of them. Sadly there are those who are useless, but that happens in every organisation. When I worked in DSS fraud, there were a few who turned up at 9.30am sat and did nothing, took lunch from 11.30 until 2pm and then went home at 3.30pm! What happened to them? They were transferred to another department!!!!!!!

If you are assessed at 'having' to pay £110 for your child/children, that means that according CSA required payment calculations, you have £630 per week to live on for yourself/other family.

What are you wining about? I wish I had £2,500 PCM AFTER child care costs to live on each month! And I do work, as do the majority of PWC. What is the problem? I just don't get it.

My advise to you.... and you asked for advice from the forum users, is to stop being so selfish and start feeling good about supporting the child you helped to create.

God, if it weren't for NRP like yourself, there would be NO need for the CSA, and children would be the forefront of ALL parents.
