how long do deliveries take normally please?
My light may be on, but that doesn't always mean I am looking at the PC - I am far more likely to be cuddling or feeding Tianna atm, so please don't think I am ignoring you if I don't reply quickly :)

lately mine have been two working days, ( so nothing happens at the weekend) it might depend what area you are in.

Went on approved food site for first time in many months, have done 2 orders previously and been pleased with it. However although some things still good value - alphabet decorating icing stuff for example - many now not much better than tescos, biscuits for example comparable with when on offer in tesco. Has anyone else noticed this?
The other problem I have with approved food is that an awful lot of the items are processed, not much basic stuff. Otherwise a good site.

i have noticed this, so i havent put an order in for a very long time..

there used to be mars bars etc 5 for a £ and who can remember the curry flavour pot noodles:rotfl: i loved that offer, something like a tray for £ or £1.50 aaaaahhhhh those were the days.

i used to love the site as the items were so silly cheap, you wouldnt think twice about putting stuff in your basket, but lately there hasnt been enough items to really tease me into putting an order, and i dont want to order just for the odd couple of items .

But i still:heartpuls Dan the Man:D, and it is sooooooooooo nice to hear a success story of an independant trader doing well:T

I just hope over the coming weeks there will be some cracking 'grab me' bargins that i want

in my last order I had (among other things)
    24 x tofu - £2.97
    SUSO Lemon Fruit Juice 24 x 250ml - £0.99

    the one before had
Soup Shot Croutons Garlic and Herb 8 x 20g Packs 0.01p
    SUSO Lemon Fruit Juice 24 x 250ml -£0.99

there's usually something mega cheap apart from those tins of 1p celeriac :D (5kg)
  • Those giant bags of tortilla chips at five for 99 pence was a cracking deal and they're delicious too. I wish I'd ordered more now but I can't complain as I've got mountains of nut roasts and veggie burger mixes to wade through

Just placed first AF order after umming and ahing for a bit whilst reading this topic. Mostly Ryvita and water, doing my best to not give into biscuits, sweets and crisps. Damn diet :p

it arrived and its fab :) I'm missing my wood cleaner, but have emailed about that. Also had my friend here helping, so shes off to place an order, and I've just done a second as well.

There#s a lot of good stuff gone on today. The Ainsley ready cooked basmati 5 for £1 and also the lemon suso drinks would be my top choices if I didn't already have quite a lot of both from last time...:D

I am prety disappointed with my lucky box which cost £5. I know someone posted earlier that theirs was rubbish, but I had a smaller one which was ok. The contents were
    1 bottle fruitiser
    1 jar pickled shallots
    1 tin suso
    1 tin energy drink
    1 carton blackcurrant squash
    2 small bottles apple juice
7 packs of discos/space raiders- mainly squashed as the box had heavy stuff in it
    1 pack pasta n sauce
3 packs de identified cup a soup
    2 boxes snack crackers
    1 sachet beef gravy

I think I could have got that stuff for around £2.50- and I didn't want most of it. So I won't be doing that again. Am I being too harsh? Also the stuff looks pretty battered-which adds to the feeling that it has been kicking around the warehouse for a long time.
On the plus side, in my main order,my misshape snowballs are lovely- the baking boys flapjacks great, the choco fruit pieces brilliant and I got 10 bottles of ketchup for £1, so I will continue to fill my garage and my family with af stuff...
