I'm not too sure if this is actually saving me money, I put in an order last week purely because of the thread here about Ryvita but could only find 2 types. So filled my basket with other stuff. Just gone on the site and no wonder I couldn't find ryvita last week they're in somewhere obscure, just looked fruit & veg. Now that I've hunted them down I have of course had to put in another order, wish I could have got some of the granary bread mix. I'm telling myself that as I'm using paypal to pay it's almost free food as it's stuff that I've sold on ebay.
I've got a lucky box coning this afternoon, I do hope that it isn't full of Ryvita.

I wish I had seen the bread mixes before they all sold out. The blueberry pancake mix is really nice, but it's sold out too, I knew I should have bought more than 2 bags! :(

I am still waiting for delivery of the order i placed last week, but because the food i want is so cheap i decided to place another order today. It is true that it can become addictive, but i for one am used to walking around a supermarket chucking offers in the trolley that look too good to miss....then getting to the till and finding out that the total is way beyond what i imagined. I've also shopped online and been tempted by this and that offer, this way, what i buy is already heavily discounted, there are no nasty bill surprises and the delivery cost is the same for me as Asda or Tesco or Sainsburys. It's true that there is no upper weight limit on the deliveries from the supermarkets (that i am aware of) , but i always spend at least twice as much money in the supermarket than i do with Approved foods.

I hope they have more baking goods in soon, flour, bread mix etc.

Also, i would like it if we had the option to choose how many products to see per page....it seems like i am forever clicking the 'next' button when i'm on their site!

Kath when did you order? Mine went in last Wednesday at 8.20pm & has just come.
I don't rate the lucky boxes at all, won't bother with that again. It was fun opening up & delving for a couple of minutes.
Must find my teapot as I bought the leaf tea, hoping that will be good as I got 6 packs of it. The rest of it I'm pleased with & I see that the all purpose flour can be used for bread but I would have loved some granary. Does anyone know if all purpose flour is plain or SR? I had assumed that it was plain as you can add baking powder.
I didn't realise how big a pile 17 packs of ryvita made & I've just ordered 48 more packs & 2 cases of the thins. Ryvita party anybody.
I WILL NOT ORDER ANYTHING ELSE FROM APPROVED FOOD UNTIL JUNE 2010 AT THE VERY VERY EARLIEST. THIS I PROMISE.

I said something very similar when we had our delivery of 3 boxes this afternoon (2 orders placed just before Easter) and unpacked it into a very full Garage (2 x 6' trestle tables which are groaning, plus 2 boxes of Ryvita) but I'm already getting an itchy finger.

The all purpose flour is best treated as plain flour - and makes very tasty yorkshire puddings ;)
Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.

3 boxes, what 3 of the big boxes? 2012 June it sounds as though you won't need to order until. It is pretty addictive.
I shall try some yorkshires with the flour, well toad in the hole to go with the white wine gravy or the bisto gravy from last time. uummm

Kate, agree about being able to select to see more items per page, I get so fed-up waiting for the the next page to load, I just give up sometimes.

Thursday or Friday, can't quite remember. All purpose flour is usually plain flour. I have ordered loads of ryvitas too :)

I'm not sure, Minjara - I just thought they tasted a bit funny. Nothing wrong with them, just not very pineapply! They have a Best Before of March 2010 so they certainly won't have gone past it.

I do have a strange sense of taste, mind, so someone else may disagree...
