Those huge 400 gramme bags of tortilla chips at 5 for 99 pence are amazing value and tasty, too. I wish I'd ordered more now. I notice they have 10 bottles of Heinz tomato sauce with chilli for not much as well and 750 gramme jars of mayo for 99 pence for two but no more of that tofu because Badger_Lady has obviously ordered it all so it's just as well that I got an order in before she cleared the place out0

It depends - if it's a 'case price' product you'll get a case if you put '1' if it's not, then you need to enter the number that's in a case to get a case full. At least that's the theory........Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0 -
Just placed another order, i managed to get some beef jerky while there was still one variety left! I'm going to try the scone mix also, anyone tried that yet?
I hope they have the cake mix again sometime because i'd like to try that.Grocery Challenge for October: £135/£200

I just received an order today from last week, we all now have all the toiletries we need for the next twelve month, I know that I could have picked them up in the cheaper shops in town for much the same price but, this way I have got it over with in one fowl swoop, and to be honest I would rather AF had the profits rather than one of the high street stores. Also the delivery is pretty much the same as it costs me for taxi home had I bought it all in town.
I got 30 of the little packs of Olbas oil tissues, I am sick to death of walking out of the house needing a tissue and having to buy a tiny pack for a silly price, and you know how it is, that pack is right next to the sweets!
I was wondering, do any of you use AF with a goal in mind?
I started using them when my washer was making some very painful noises on the spin, and needed some money in my savings to get a new one when the time came,,,,,,in the mean time my strimmer packed up mid strim,,,my drier died a death, and I have had a break in and my laptop went walkabout, so all these have needed replacing,,,,,the washing is still making painful noises, but still working and I now have money put by for the eventuality of it needing replacing.Ebay 13........1583.46/2000.00 Amazon sales 54/50 Etsy sales 63/50

I've been non working non claiming for a couple of years now & feel duty bound to be thrifty, it's my 'job'
Noticed some of AF stuff in the 99p stores, but it was dearer on the food, about the same on the non food. If anyone is a Flyer, 99p stores have rubber scrubbers in stock - green/white colour :A0 -
I've always tried to save money where I can so there's more to go round for 'nice' things like holidays. However, I've recently lost my job due to ill health so reduced income makes AF even more of a good idea. I'm hoping we can still afford regular (UK) holidays if I manage our budget carefully. We're off to Norfolk for a week at the end of the month and are planning to take Ryvita for picnic lunches and nut roast, sos mix and burger mix for evening meals, oh and cous cous as well . I'm sure we'll eat out once or twice but there's no harm in cutting costs where we can!Decluttering, 20 mins / day Jan 2024 2/20

Verdict on the latest delivery:
- Delivery service very good - no complaints whatsoever
- Japanese rice crackers - they're not vegetarianIn fact it's the first pack I've ever found that contains shrimp powder and cochineal, so that sucks.
- Mixed fruit in juice is lovely, although the pineapple chunks in juice are a bit odd
- Sushi meal kit is a super-bargain
- Tofu - well it's brilliant, but I've bought it all so thereMortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0
