mcallister1 wrote: »I am prety disappointed with my lucky box which cost £5. I know someone posted earlier that theirs was rubbish, but I had a smaller one which was ok. The contents were
1 bottle fruitiser
1 jar pickled shallots
1 tin suso
1 tin energy drink
1 carton blackcurrant squash
2 small bottles apple juice
7 packs of discos/space raiders- mainly squashed as the box had heavy stuff in it
1 pack pasta n sauce
3 packs de identified cup a soup
2 boxes snack crackers
1 sachet beef gravy
I think I could have got that stuff for around £2.50- and I didn't want most of it. So I won't be doing that again. Am I being too harsh? Also the stuff looks pretty battered-which adds to the feeling that it has been kicking around the warehouse for a long time.
On the plus side, in my main order,my misshape snowballs are lovely- the baking boys flapjacks great, the choco fruit pieces brilliant and I got 10 bottles of ketchup for £1, so I will continue to fill my garage and my family with af stuff...
I think this is the reason that I have completely avoided the lucky boxes. They seem very hit and miss.Decluttering, 20 mins / day Jan 2024 2/20 -
Hi,
I have seen on here a few times people saying that they are ordering for other people, how do you do that?
I mean do you open another account with there address and still use your paypal?
Or do you have it sent to your house then send it on to them yourself.

I've got some of the Fig and Almond... it is tasty just served like a chutney with cheese, but it's very rich and sweet. Each little container is too much for one serving.Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0

he fruit paste is a little bit dry imo. I think if it was wetter I could use it on sandwiches with cheese- but I could probably water it down. I like the apricot one0

I'm sure someone was getting it sent somewhere else for their daughter at Uni, have a look on the A F Forum on their site or ring them up. 0114 360 0061.
I expect it's possible, like amazon etc do multiple addresses for delivery.0 -
I placed my first order late last night after having a look around on and off for a few months. I've gotten into the habit of having something faily fast food-ish fo work (we have limited kitchen facilities - two microwaves between around 300 people in my office!) and have gotten into having bowls of couscous that I make up at lunch, or cup a soups and ryvita to dunk or tesco light noodles etc.
So I was very pleased to order a case of ainsley harriot spicy lentil cup soups (36 packets) for £1.50, 10 packets of ryvita for £2, 24 packets of cous cous (AH again) for £3 and cases of noodles for £1.50. Considering these are all things I buy (including the brand and variety) in the supermarket, I was very pleased to see that my order of £19-off including delivery, would have cost £220 in the supermarket. A saving of £200 :eek: on what were cheap lunches even at supermarket prices!!
Well my lunches and overtime snacks are now sorted til around September :T:T0 -
I am loving the croutons added to my cup a soups
they are may 09, but seem fine, nice and crunchy.
My light may be on, but that doesn't always mean I am looking at the PC - I am far more likely to be cuddling or feeding Tianna atm, so please don't think I am ignoring you if I don't reply quickly
Our Precious Baby Tianna has now joined our Family, she is much loved and very welcome, xxx0
