As for putting the stuff away - I've got orange juice on the floor under the kitchen table, my slow cooker and rice cooker have packets in them, some packets I've opened and stuffed an inner from a second packet in to save room (nut roast) Apart from A F stuff, I've got coffee jars under the bed & toilet rolls under my desk. Next parcel I'm going to have to start on the garage.
Happily my husband gave 5 packets of sausage mix away today
When my Mum passed away in 1989, we found loads of packets of soft brown sugar dotted around the house - did Approved foods exist back then? :rotfl:Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0 -
I used the Mrs Crimbles pastry mix today and it was actually quite nice, no complaints. I did try some of the gluten free bread before but nobody would eat it after the first loaf so the birds had it.0

In 1974 or thereabouts there was a 3 day week -no electricity half the week and chronic shortages of anything useful. I couldn't buy sugar, toilet paper, coffee, soap. I was too young to be savvy, it was like only people in the know could get anything. Been stockpiling ever since on essentials. And I'm not alone! I met a woman at a friend's party who confessed to having a vast stash of toilet paper in her cellar in case it ran out again....
My husband had to work late at his office tonight, and found a pot noodle with a 2007 date on it - he ate it as he was starving and said it tasted exactly the same as usual :rotfl:0 -
Just wondering if these lucky box things are actually in a box or if they are just extra of what you've ordered?
Never had one before, and I don't think I've got one now (missing along with half my order)
I had a 99p refund for some sweets, but there's about £7 worth that's just not there (even though it says it is on the packing slip)
Wondered if there was meant to be another box, but it says 1/1.
I've had a "parcel is packed ready for courier" type email the day before the courier came and then nothing after that one. This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine.0 -
The smaller lucky boxes are packed in the 'shoe box' style boxes. The Luxury £5 ones come in boxes which have been described as A3 paper size.
If there wasn't another box in your order with 'assorted' bits and pieces (normally ones and two's of different items) then you probably haven't been 'lucky'
Get in touch with AF, give them your order number and tell them what was missing - they will refund to your payment account. Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0 -
As Raksha says the small 50p 'free-with-orders-of £30' lucky box is about the size of a child's shoe box, I had four with 5 small items each and the last one (free) had 3 items. Did it actually say there was a lucky box on your invoice? Sounds like you have had bad luck with your packer, ask for a refund on the £7 of items that are missing!0

Unfortunately, despite being told 11 days ago that i would be refunded for damaged goods that were delivered, i have still not been refunded. If i had of been i may have taken the chance of placing a further order, but this is getting ridiculous and is really putting me off buying from them again.Grocery Challenge for October: £135/£200
