I have just rung and have been told they same thing. At least I can get in touch with OH and tell him not to bother calling (customer service is fab though, they are sending my parcel for free as it is their fault :j).

I didn't realise that the news of the shop closure had spread quite so wide yet - that explains why we have had so many calls about it today! :eek:

Apologies - we have been inundated with calls since this morning with customers expressing their horror about it closing.

The website is still waiting to be updated but as Wendy advised, they will now only be open to the public on Friday and Saturday.........

Have spoken to DonnaP about her order too so that is sorted out.

Nothing to do with AP, the fault was with the courier. When I rang first thing this morning they said it had been mis scanned by the driver :cool: and it was still with them and would be delivered today.

I made another order yesterday before I had the probs with this delivery so I hope the couriers get their act together this time.

Now then, where do I put all of these crisps that I have just had delivered.

I have used Approved Foods around once a month for a year or so. They are pretty good, my last order was placed on the 3rd of Feb and arrived on the 8th. It often takes a little longer for the standard DHL delivery over a weekend, although it wasn't actually delivered by DHL, it was just a plain white local couriers van. I try to get mostly cooking ingredients, juice and stuff for lunches as there is a lot of tasty but not necessarily healthy stuff. We have had a few items we didn't like but they were few and far between and if you only pay pennies it's not such a big deal if you don't like something and have to throw it away. Depends on what you are looking for really, stock changes often and if you see an item you really want to get a lot of it's best to order right away as stock can be limited and sold out very quickly. Bear in mind they often have delays after a big advertising campaign!

I have had the Milo chocolates before, they tasted a bit like maltesers.
