we have 2 Britax Duo isofix and they are great!! As already said easy to use and sturdy!! They feel rigid in the car - no sense of movement as though the car came with them installed.0

We have a Britax Evolva 2-3 isofit Ultra. Have googled it and it comes up in Argos
0983598 is the product code, sorry tried to do a link but it didn't work, was too long!!
It was the safest ones on the Which report. But make sure you are looking at the isofit version as they also do a cheaper one without isofix.
Thanks for that, now does that need the top tether point too? Need to have a look on our car to make sure it had the tether points.Bringing up 2 handsome boys and 1 gorgeous girl the MSE way!Joseph born 19th December 2001Matthew born 8th August 2007Tara born 23rd January 20110 -

The main VW site shows Bobsy seats and they look very much like maxi-Cosi seats. Does anyone know who actually makes them?

Ps
Would I be better with a seat designed for my car, which is a Golf? I intend to keep it for a while and if we do upgrade it will almost certainly be an Audi, these seats are designed for Audis too.
The Which? car tests are done in an Astra which (obviously :rotfl: ) isn't my car so I wonder if their top buy, a MaxiCosi Priorifix, would be as good in a Golf.0 -
th seats in general are tested for safety, and although they are tested in an astra they will be perfectly fine in most cars
We have the Maxi Cosi Tobi and it is absolutely fantastic. When we searched which was just before christmas this was one of th safest on the market. I personally wouldnt buy dealers own brand car seats unless I had to i.e the mcc smart car you can only use a smart baby seat in them due to airbags and things like that .Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
You'd need to check on the Maxi Cosi website to see if the seat has been approved for use in the particular vehicle - try here: http://www.maxi-cosi.com/maxicosi/carselector.aspx?language=gb-en
No idea if they make child seats for VW/Audi - it's difficult to see from the pics on the VW website. Quite likely though - I know Britax make seats for Ford (or they used to!):j Almost 2 stones gone! :j

As the title suggests I am looking to purchase one particular model of car seat, the Maxi Cosi Rodi XR
Does anyone know where I can purchase it the cheapest? (ideally black)
Many thanks0 -
