Sometime the buckles get full of crisps and sweets for example, can you remove it and run it under a warm tap this should clear it0

Thanks for the reply, I checked this morning and couldn't find anything in the clip, so I called the shop it come from and immediately they said to take it back and it was replaced without any hassle. Luckily I had kept the receipt.0

Hi Folks!
First time poster here!
I currently have a 6 month old little girl, but she has all but outgrown her Grayco Car Seat (Came with the Grayco Quattro Tour travel system).
Can anyone recommend a suitable car seat that i can get for her, for a reasonable price? (max. £75ish)
Thanks

Keep her in her rear facing seat at that age , the Britax First Class is both forward and rear facing , the neck is not strong enough in the event of a crash if you put them in a forward facing seat at that age, sounds gory but it could stretch the spine and cause death or serious injury

Thanks for that one!
It was a combination front & rear facing seat we were looking for.
That one looks a good buy, but i'm still open to other offers anyone else might have!

What sort of support does she need? Would a seat that uses an adult seatbelt be suitable?

Hi, try http://www.crelling.com
They supply all sorts of straps/harnesses to safely convert your seats/seatbelts. I've been able to get straps to keep my houdini in his seat in the car and on his school bus.0 -
The trouble with extending the straps would be if she is too tall for the seat. If her eye level is above the top of the seat back then it wouldn't be offering her the right protection (the same is her body weight is heavier than the seat's range.)May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0

well basically she just needs support that she stays in the seat a 5 point harness is a must, also some support for her head so it doesnt droop as when she sleeps her head drops and that just isnt comfy for long journeys. She weighs about 18kg and is 1metre tall so really need something to help her sit comfy in the car i have a car seat from argos http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/3760275/Trail/C%24cip%3D1500012028.Baby%2Band%2Bnursery%3EC%24cip%3D1500012044.Car%2Band%2Bbooster%2Bseats.htm
