What favours are you having, and how much were they?

Thought it we be a nice topic for us all

What favours are you having (if you are having any)?
and how much are you spending

Initially I was going to do little boxes with sweets in them, but I have since changed my mind and it is now more than likely that we will be having vw camper tea lights in gold and silver :) They are so cute and will make everyone think of us
Just trying to decide if I am happy with the extra cost of them lol

  • Our current choice is boxes with foiled chocolate hearts inside. Too be honest I'd love to have something else, a little bit more unpredicatable and more fun but our favour budget is very tight (£1 pp) so we're really limited.

    If anyone else has other ideas I'd love to hear them............

    We are having mini bars of Green and Black's chocolates. We got them on offer at Sainsbury's so they work out at about 25p a bar.

    The men have got a s/s hip flask which will be filled with Jack Daniels and a friend of ours is going to engrave them for free - Bonus!! They cost a £1 each from the poundshop but are the same as the ones in Timpsons for £6 plus the cost of the JD

    The women have a gorgeous silver compact mirror with a crystal heart on the front and matching handbag charm with crystal heart and beads. These cost £4 each in the sale but I found a code giving another £2 off each of them so they only cost £2!!

    I am going to make my own wild seed packets for the evening guests, so cost of paper/ink and seeds shouldn't be more that £20 If that!

    I'm having little ivory paper bags for all of my guests (50) with ;
    • a mini bar of chocolate with our pics on it (we photocopied a lovely pic of us pulling faces, cut to size and used it as a wrapper.) 20p each ish?
    • a little card with a funny wedding custom/wedding triv on it (I have these ready to print if anyone wants a copy, they're great!)
    • a miniture perfume for the ladies, (Ghost, Anais Anais etc) from sale at Boots at Christmas, about 80p each?
    • and a metal puzzle for the men (from Ebay), about 20p each with the words 'love is like a puzzle….when two pieces fit together its perfect' attached!
    Kinda like a party loot bag I guess, but with lots of lovely things in!

    We're having chocolate love spoons. Mums idea - she thinks we need to have something to represent my Welsh background. Its a nice idea - but I'm still waiting for my mum to come back with costings!
