I signed up with my other email address and i have another bank account from my student days. It let me do it no problem and again I cancelled without receiving any dvds, my voucher arrived and I got season six if ER! Im very pleased!:T
Good for you! No wonder people do these things, when they just emailed me and apologised and said I am NOT entitled to a voucher, since I only added 9 titles, not 10! What a load of rubbish! I added 12! I have emailed back saying I was told on the 11th that they were going to send the code in 14-21 days, so they need to send the code. Once 21 days were up, they said, actually it's 28 days, now I'm suddenly not entitled.

Out of order they are  I might just sign up again to teach them a lesson

You should charlene, its a shame people are having these problems. I can only say that I have had no bad luck with them at all.

eejay, I've had a similar experience to you. I cancelled then returned my last DVD FIVE days before the next payment date, but they claimed to have received it too late & I was charged. Funny, they received all the other DVDs I retuned the very next day!!

Today, when I received my credit card statement 10 days later, I discovered that I've been charged for another month (£5.99 for 2 DVDs). So I called them on their freephone cancellation number 0808 2000 194, & they agreed to reactivate my account (at no charge), plus I can rent the 2 DVDs I've already paid for. Then I shall have to cancel again & return all DVDs before 12 July. My advice to you would be to do the same so you don't lose out completely.

When returning the LAST DVD in future, the best thing to do is to may be return it by Recorded delivery*, so they cannot lie about which day they actually received it. G

*has been suggested before (click here & ckick here) but I don't know if it has been done & whether it actually worked for anyone.

I returned my last dvds by recorded delivery and it worked a treat! Remember to tell the post office cashier it's a freepost address and they should charge you less.

I returned it in a jiffy bag with their freepost address written on it (wanted to return all three in one envelope) and it worked fine. I have returned dvds to other companies in their own envelopes though, whichever seems fine! I've signed up to all the different companies for quidco cashback so I've had lots to remember to return :D

    bintagz.co.uk,

if you cant get them to renege, do a chargeback to them via your bank. dont let them walk all over you!!!
