Yes I had a great day and evening! Went to my old uni to see the new bars on campus so if anyone wants to go to Kent, I can guarantee that they will have an amazing time now...
I entered a certain competition this week... Call it birthday luck but if you go on to www. 3am . co .uk / 3am girl and look at profile 3...
That's me! I got shortlisted to be a 3am girl for the Daily Mirror!
I know I'm not meant to publicise! But... well, I was hoping you lot might be able to help to bump up the voting numbers for little old me!
Seeing as what better way to have a 3am girl than to have a 3am GUY!!! :rotfl:
So yeah... I'll bump the comp thread to make sure people are aware... But if you could vote for me!
Glad you had a great birthday and I've voted

Thanks DT!!! :T Now if you could share this on a certain book of Faces... somewhere on the internet when linked to me...
Well you know I'm not meant to do this so wave goodby to this account!:beer: Debt Free since July 2011 and it feels good!
Now it's all about finding a deposit for a house!
How do you amass £70k in a year?! :eek:0 -
I've voted too walshy - good luck :T
It is DS's birthday today - 14  I managed to get away with buying him only things he needed anyway, eg new jeans, and a new coat....oh, and a football. My Godson (who is very autistic) is coming over on the bus (first time unaccompanied - so a very precise military-type organisation) and my Mum is taking us all out for dinner this evening, so hopefully a nice day ahead of us. fitting in, of course, the usual skiing, supermarket shop and general weekend stuff......
Off to scratch and bank - have a good day everyone!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Happy Birthday Master Hypno - can we still say that when they're 14? I'm not sure..... ah well, last go.
I'll be off to vote as soon as I've posted this, Walshy - looking forward to seeing that!
Hypno, hope the military organisation works - what a nice thing to use military organisation for! I could use a fair bit of that myself - got to sort out some stuff in town, then I've got an Egyptology talk this afternoon (local this time, not halfway to London) and out for a friend's birthday meal this evening - two of our usual party aren't coming, they can't afford itwhich has freaked me out, so I'll be doing it as cheaply as possible.....
Are you doing any skiing type activity Hypno, or watching the kids?2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
I'm not skiing - just acting as the taxi/bank/physio/etc :rotfl:
Enjoy your meal out this evening - shame your friends can't make it, perhaps you can do something the MSE way on another day.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Thats true - I'm seeing one of them today at Egyptology, and the other one is coming to my house on Monday for a work-y type meeting, with diary to book something social.....
Get the dongle ready for ski-watching.....2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Happy birthday Hypno DS
hope he has a great birthday (do they still say 'sweet'?) My DS has just learnt it - but we are maybe behind the times up here - so everything is 'sweet' at the moment - I try not to giggle too much
Mine is 15 on Hallo'een - (how did that happen?)Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:
:money:Sleeves up folks.:money:0 -
We don't have "sweet" but we do have a fair amount of grunt :rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
