That's fantastic news.I'm so pleased for you.0

Ditto all of the above - it must be a relief to not have such a high APR staring you in the face. 8% is so much more reasonable.
You really keep turning things around - not long before you'll be debt free!

I know I'm going to get shot for this but....
I'm now 25 (well as of 3:47pm but my mum won't let me forget I was a 28 hour labour!) and still haven't had a chance to enjoy life since I moved to the East End! I must make I don't make it to 26 with the same ethos!
Ooooh and make sure if you do take the biscuit, it's McVities and you win the £50 from the codes!
Happy Friday all! Look forward to a little property !!!!!! from you lot! :T:beer: Debt Free since July 2011 and it feels good!
Now it's all about finding a deposit for a house!
How do you amass £70k in a year?! :eek:0 -

Double scratch day today - so press F5 everyone
That extra 10p might make all the difference!
£24 mystery shopping money received today, so straight into the debt pot it goes........
Once the loans have been sorted from barclayloan to halifax, then my next target will be the 0% card - because when the 0% ends next year, if it is not repaid in full, it will go up to 15.9% as a minimum, (and quite likely to be more) which is higher APR than the new halifax loan. So any MSE money will go to that so that I don't end up with the frustrations of rising APRs again.
Macmillan coffee morning at work today and I was supposed to make cakes to take in, but I was so taken with doing the loan last night, that I forgot - so I will have to nip into Tescos and buy some instead......which of course won't be as good as my own would have been, but needs must

sounds good to me, great savvy thinking! Halifax also offered me a credit card with 0% for 9 months for BTs and spending. Not intending to spend on it, but am planning to BT my Natwest titchy balance to it. I was guaranteed acceptance too, but not had the card yet to know what balance they've given me, but I'm sure it will be enough to cover the Natwest bill. I was quite surprised to see that as well!
No money saving going on here; too busy burning the candle at both ends doing the Arise training (which I am actually knitting throughout to keep me sane - get annoyed when I have to put it down to speak on the mic lol) to list more on Amazon, list on Ebay, etc. I am however, doing my scratches of course ;-)0 -

Loving this house today, but I think the garden might be a tad too much for me.........Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
