Payday :j:j
Also £40 hit my bank account today from various MSE stuff I did over the weekend, so that has been transferred to the barclayloan pot
Hello Hypno!
Thank you for your posts to my diary. Been following yours and did give you a credit on mine re the inspirational decluttering......but how on earth did you raise £40 from MSE stuff? Please tell as would help my new "aggressive thrift" phase!! Still, got almost £40 from my ebaying so pleased with that, and it's detsined for my Tesco card, but still, another £40 would be v welcome!

Morning! That £40 is certainly quick into your bank, hypno, thats great. I'm still mucking about with travel, from yesterday's links on your diary ... lots of fun
How exciting that your payrise comes into effect in this month's pay! Such a big chunk off the mortgage, I'm pleased for you.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Just had a jolly good catch up from the last couple of weeks. It's really good to see your progress in 'chunks' actually, like measuring a child's height everyday you don't see the progress immediately but with longer in between it's shows how [STRIKE]tall you're getting[/STRIKE] marvellously you're doing! :A
I must have known there was a mass decluttering movement going on as that is what I found myself doing on Sunday afternoon! Despite being cream crackered from working overtime on Saturday and getting up uber early to do a car boot Sunday morning - I can now see the floor in the back bedroom :j
Will be going even further with second car boot this Sunday, did so well at the last one! Funnily enough selling bags and bags of mixed Christmas baubles and an old Christmas tree! :xmastree::santa2::snow_grin:eek:Pround to be dealing with my debts! DFW Nerd # 1201

Evening - I've had a loooong day so have a headache, but hopefully a couple of cups of coffee an a sit down with MSE will cure that quickly enough!
Mrs R - this weekend's money was a combination of free bingo winnings, scratchcard payout and a casino reload offer thing.........all paid up quite quickly, so I was very happy to move the money over to the debt pot this morning
I've got £45 sitting as "received" in Quidco too, so that will come through at the end of the month, and have a small amount of mystery shopping money due to me in the next few days.
All smallish amounts, but they all add up nicelySuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Hypno, You are v clever and determined
Have allocated Fridays as my serious/more experimental debtbusting day, whereas Mon to Thurs are more about NSDs, so going to have a look at those scratchcard threads - too scared of the matched betting stuff though, had a look, looks too hard for me!

I'm not so good on the NSDs - still need more effort in that area
I have had my buildings and contents insurance renewal notice through today - £600  A significant increase from last year, and we don't exactly live in a high crime area, and I haven't made a claim.
So, onto quidco I go, and find a better policy (more cover, less excess) for £299 PLUS £80 cashback
Not a bad 10 mins work........am just "on hold" to the current providers to tell them in the nicest possible way, that I won't be renewingSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground.
