My DS got his reasullts relayed when we were away & got all 1s & 2s in his standard grades~equv to GCSE's :)

How much to go on Egg then?

Well, in typical "Egg style" they have lost the £300 I sent by faster payments on Friday

So, I have sent them a couple of secured messages telling them to find it quick.

So, if they find it, there is less than £400 to go.....

With faster payments it normally shows up on the same day. Halifax emailed me on Friday to say that Egg had received it.......so I just need to wait for Egg to find it, which I am sure is not going to be as straight forward as perhaps it should be

well, you have ensured that I won't ever be getting any kind of account with Egg - I have my car insurance with them; hope I never need to use it from the sounds of it!:rotfl:

I'm off to see if I can sort out my money pots at the Halifax now - i have trouble with their online site, so wishing meself luck!

BTW, have read a bit of your diary now, your story is amazing, and definitely an inspiration! And I totally agree with what you have done re yours kids and their sports, and the way you and they go about saving for it all is teaching them a valuable lesson!
