Morning Hypno and all! Glad you had such a good time at the races Hypno - I confess, I've *never* been to a race meeting. I keep thinking I'd like to go for the experience, but thats one that'll have to wait, I'm afraid.

I was betting too last night tho! I got a leaflet in the post from totesport, scratch and you'll win sort of thing, and it got me £15 - so I've been using it over the last few days, and finally, last night, on my very last set of tickets, I won the 2 lines and the jackpot - total of £14.65, but I can't withdraw it for some reason - if I can't do it over the weekend, I'll phone the freebie customer services no on Monday. Plus I reached £5 payout on lightspeed, another amazon voucher, hurray.

Hope you're having a good one - and good luck with that shopping list.

Morning KC - well done on the freebie money, and I am sure you will be able to withdraw it somehow.

I reached £10 on a scratchcard today, but need to have slightly more to withdraw - but at least I am there or thereabouts!

    morning hypno - morning all!

hypno - so glad you had an enjoyable evening out & even came home with a profit!! - hope you are feeling much better as well & that the yucky bugs have vacated & found a new home!!

my debt busting over the past year has been a bit slow - with OH's redundancy the payments that would have gone to overpayments went to our basic bills ...

...but thought i'd report on some positive news - my student loan has only 3 months to go & that means one less debt! - the payments are really high on it and absolutely inflexible - can not over or underpay - at least the interest rate has dropped this year to 4.75% so it's going to finish 2 months before planned!!!

the next debt to tackle will be the huge one left to me by the ex! -- lots of emotional baggage attached to that one! - and no way to make him contribute as i'm this side of the pond!

looks like i really have to update that signature! - the figures are well out of date! - though debt free date still remains the same...

    (for now)
    4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! (24 OCT 2016)
(With heartfelt thanks to those who have gone before us & their indubitable generosity.)
    ...and now I have a mortgage! (23 AUG 2021)
New projection - 14 YEARS 10 MONTHS LEFT OF 20 YEARS (reduced by 15 mths)
Psst...I may have started a diary!

  • Morning Hypno,

So glad you had a good time last night AND managed to make a profit.:j:j. Try and have *some* rest this weekend as you have been a poorly little bunny and you need to take care of you.

    Have a lovely day
