Having a low stress job with low pay helps me in this respect:D. Horses for course and all that!
again good point SS

I am finding that a lot of time folk are actually encouraging each other to spend which is quite worrying - in a "go on you deserve it" sort of way which is what got me into debt in the first place (not by encouragement but by thinking I "deserved" holidays etc). Bob put me right this year when I was wavering and it was much appreciated:D.

right the two of you just mentioned bob ...i think we should blame bob for all the good and all the kinky ...:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
i think you are right skinty i have noticed this myself ...not a constant thing but it is creeping in more and more ...but then i also feel we can be too hard on ourselves so it's trying to get that balance that is important... and that is the preverbial needle in a haystack for me sometimes ...i did so good got out of debt then started my own business and i have to admit did think a good few times ...well i deserve it ...and it certainly didnt help me i am back in debt to nearly the tune of 10k i am not sure exactly how much to be honest as i am still burying my head in the sand about it ... but i know this time i need to get the balance or i will be doing get out of dbt for a third time and i really dont want to go there ...i want to start saving for things ...0 -
Elantan the first two families I felt for (three kids and jobs and yes reaching for the instant meal option I could understand), the fact they were prepared to go on national tv and have their spending habits laid bare (so to speak) then go them! I will watch the next programme (basically because I like the overall idea) and I hope the husband doesn't irritate me as much as he did on the trailer!Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup
