mum2one I think the website for NASA is on the thrifty blog

sarah - thanks for the printable stationary link -used to have that in my favourites on old computer and along with a lot of other stuff I lost it when it packed up. (I love the floral set)

    I'll have a look at baker ross.........thanks:j

PinkLipgloss -- thanks for the links.:j
Not sure whether stamping would work on felt would it ?
Never tried stamping - made such a mess up trying to put designs on a wall once it sort of put me off

    Evening all,

mary-op Sorry my post was unclear - I meant using stampers as an alternative to felt. For example you can buy packs of A4 foam for 99p from The Works and cut a piece out and stick it in the corner of your page - you could then mount on a piece of coloured card with a letter stamped on it (if you wanted to be really fancy you could use that thick double sided tape to make it 3D). Then you would have a set of stamps you could use for every occassion ;)

mummy2mygirls - I tend to buy sets of boxes from Pound shops - only problem is you need to wait a bit before they start putting out their Christmas stock. Having said that I was in BHS in Edinburgh yesterday and they had a sale on their Christmas stock - basic stuff like tree decorations and cards for one or two pounds (nothing big).

My top tip for those of you making hampers pound shops / stationary stores sell packs of tissue paper (in various colours) really cheaply. If you have a paper shredder stick them through it and use the shredded paper as "stuffing" in your hampers - it looks very professional! (I did it last year and got fab feedback!)

Sorry I'm overtaking the forum (my brain is on overdrive!) - I PROMISE this is my last post tonight ;)

I had an idea for homemade presents - I plan to buy some of these cheap round wooden boxes http://www.bagnboxman.co.uk/catalogue/RoundWoodenBoxes.php and I will hand paint / decorate them (personalise with names) and then varnish them and voila - a personalised funky jewellery box :D
