Hi all, well i need to confess despite already having my folder it is still not ready  It will be my mission to get it done tonight. I am finding it really hard to be thinking about christmas while we are still in July  But as the thread is for all occasions 2009 i will continue, as i finish my maternity leave and go back to work two weeks tomorrow  and I think being organised for that alone will help.

I have spent the weekend sorting out DS1 room and have got boxes of 'goods' :p to go on ebay. My room is the next on the list to be de-cluttered - really should be doing it now lol

On a positive though, a free pc game arrived from ministryofdeals today, I have ordered 2 dvds from play using vouchers from the cereal boxes that have been lying in the drawer for months, all of which will be going in DS1 christmas box. I also bought a recipe book (the kind you write your own in) for my nan from sainsburys for only 89p.Not much done but it's a start :D

Oh and as soon as i can get some cheap ink i am going to do the mars & star things for my cousins kids - thanks for the links and ideas

    Xmas Saver!
Sorry I'm overtaking the forum (my brain is on overdrive!) - I PROMISE this is my last post tonight ;)

I had an idea for homemade presents - I plan to buy some of these cheap round wooden boxes http://www.bagnboxman.co.uk/catalogue/RoundWoodenBoxes.php and I will hand paint / decorate them (personalise with names) and then varnish them and voila - a personalised funky jewellery box :D

Don't be daft, :Athe forums for everyone, were here to share our ideas, help each other, and espically bring bargains to the thread.

I had a peep at that website the prices are brilliant. - keep that brain going into overtime. xx;)
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

:santa2: Oooh lots of santas helpers :D

    Welcome to everyone ....

Hopefully we will all be able to sit back and enjoy the Christmas festivities this year. Sipping snowman soup, all snuggled up in fleecy blankets watching a great Christmas dvd. Whilst our Christmas tree lights flicker in the background. Our preasants will be all nicely wrapped under the tree and all our cards would of been posted.Mince pies would of been cooked in preparation for any last minute visitors. :D
We wont feel guilty for going out to the works christmas party, when we should be at home wrapping gifts.
We will be able to plan our Christmas around making memories. After all the presants are unwrapped, after the tree has been taken down, When the toys have all be shoved into the back of a cupboard. The memories stay with us.:D

Heres to the happiest, organised and stressfree Happy Christmas

    Choccy x

Wow, you have won me over, am in!!! Cant wait!

While Ladies its 2 days to Santas challenge - will be gentle- wont be anything difficult as the freezer was the main July challenge. Anyone who hasn't done the freezers dont worry, u have until the 20th Aug.

As the 21st is Santas Challenge -this 21st just doing some small challenges / folder workouts / and a surprise or 2

One of the challenges is for kids to do with ur help. (But just as good for adults)

    You will need
    Empty cereal box
piece of wrapping paper - ideally darker background

I'm driving myself nuts trying to find a digital photo frame for my sons birthday in 2 weeks ! Trouble is, I want the best of both worlds..........the cheapest and the best and don't think I'll ever get that. Plus I know nothing about them so haven't a clue
Cheapest I've seen on line are around £27 .........is that a reaonable price ?
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Difficult to say without the spec. Jessops have a sale on now - you can get a 7" frame with interchangeable surrounds (480x234 pixels resolution) for 29 pounds (it was 39)

    http://www.jessops.com/online.store/categories/Digital%20Photo%20Frames/products/Jessops/Digital%207%20Photo%20Frame%20with%20Interchangeable%20Surrounds-75511/Show.html

I'm really into photography and always use jessops for my prints (you can really notice the difference in quality). They are currently doing 40 free prints for new online customers (you can collect free instore or pay a small P&P fee) :D

    Evening everyone

Have just read trhough about 6 or 7 pages to catch up as not been on snce Friday. Feeling a bit left out as I have already got most of my presents now so nothing new to add.

Daughters birthday went well, she loved her Twilight bracelet and cakes.

Off to catch up on the other thrifty thread xx
