Yay for shiny folders! We should start a club... THE SHINY FOLDER CLUB! (or SFC for short
)
Thanks for all the crafty and freebies links guys, I'm really getting my teeth stuck in here.
I've also been going back over the festive pages on here, namely the 'festive fivers' page. I brought 4 stars today for my OH, two best friends and parents.
And for free!(ish)
I went onto freenameastar (put .com afterwards (sorry, not allowed to post links as a new user)) and named 4 stars, I paid the $2 options so I could cover up the 'freestar' banner on the certificate. They then sent me the individual certifcates to my email, along with an option to print off where a star map of where said star is, which I printed off in colour on card.
I then framed the one for my parents (£1 frame from Poundland thank you!). Then for the others, I rolled into a scroll and put in a little box with sparkly star confetti.
They look FAB and I know the recipients are going to love them
So for my parent's star - £1.22 (for star)
- £1 (for frame)
= £2.22 TOTAL
For the others' star - - £1.22 (for star)
- £0.33 (for confetti)
= £1.55 TOTAL
Awesomenus gifitus!

kimini jane - when you put your name in the registering boxes do you put it for the recipients of the star or for yourself?
Looking to get one for my nieces.Time to find me again0 -
:eek::eek::eek::eek:
I was clearing out the wardrobe last night and found a bag of Christmas stuff that I'd forgotten about! Pregnant brain strikes again, and now I'm horrendously overbought for this year.
The plan is to take it all to the UK with us, and then I shall spend a few hours organising everything, wrapping and sorting what's a gift for this year and for whom and wrapping and sorting birthday/Christmas gifts for next year. All of this will be written down and then transferred to my spreadsheet, which will be rigorously updated whenever I buy anything for anyone else.
From the sheer volume of stuff I uncovered, it looks like next year's birthdays are also sortedHow could I have been so disorganised?!

I did the freenameastar.com last night too for one for my boys to share and one for my nieces and nephew, going to get them framed for xmas. Also did the NASA thing where you can send your name to Mars in 2011, and you can print those certificates too, so I did those for all the kids (my boys, neices, nephews, friends kids), going to do those in a scroll rather than a frame, and put that in with their xmas too.0

sarah - did you see the Dr Who Voice Changer masks on play.com earlier this week? The Dalek one was 7.99 or 8.99 and I was going to buy it cause my kids were eyeing it up last year but it was £30 I went on this morning to buy it cause its the last weekend of the sale and there are still some Dr Who Bargains but the Voice Changer mask is only available for £12.99 on playtrade.0

I did the Name a Star last year for baby grandson -it was on the Freebie board.
Haven't done the Mars thing yet..............might have a look at that.
Thought I'd just about covered christmas but having another look at my 'hoard' and the fact that sons birthday is coming up, plus his girlfriends then my best friend.................nope ! I'm not done yet:rotfl:I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
