This isn't completely free anymore, have to pay for postage now at £4.70 (ish) and has been moved to the low spend rather than the no spend board.0 -

I am up bright and early having just returned from the NEXT sale. I arrived at Falkirk Next (it's the best NEXT store in my area) just before 5am and managed to get loads of bargains (particularly in homewear since I'm moving to a new place on Thursday). Pleased to report that is was very civilized this year. :j Previous years have seen people fighting to get stuff off the rails!

Thank you Lipgloss, I went in there today (as I was passing of course!). I had a scanning look at the clothes but I just don't have the tolerance for all the people pushing and shoving. I was so disappointed as practically all the homeware stuff had gone! I did manage to get a lovely girly mug for 50p that would make a great present filled with chocolates and wrapped in cellophane. I'm gonna look in all the Next stores I can get to!
Good luck with the house move, let us know how it goes. x0 -

Last year I bought a wee small box with Xmas designs on it and kept reciepts of xmas presents that had one year guarantee or may need exchanged after xmas in it. It is in with xmas decorations now. so if sons xbox breaks before xmas or Daughters striaghteners I know exactly where the receipts are!
I love this idea, much better than what I've done in the past of keeping them in a small carrier bag!0 -
I am doing reasonably well I think. Last night i picked up 3 gifts in the body shop sale. I also did a halfcost order and got some winter boots for DD, A fleece for OH, some small toys for my kids and a pair of golddigga pj's. Did an Asda order to take advantage of free delivery plus some online bargains and got sleepwear for my kids plus OH. Then I did a small shop on the hamleys website taking advantage of the sale prices. Got stuff for both my kids plus soft toys for the kids in the extended family.
I am feeling pretty organised. Folder ready and waiting for me to list each item as it arrives. Oh and i did my freezer todayMF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000 -

LucyLu,
I arrived before 5am with the aim of bagging all the home stuff that I needed (dinner set, duvet sets, mugs, glasses etc) and I noticed that they were all quick to go - by 5:30am all the dinner sets had gone - it really is a case of if you're not fast you're last. I can easily imagine the shelves being empty come regular opening hours. However, you can avoid the store altogether and opt for the online sale - it started at 8am this morning and I did notice when I logged in at 9am (after I got back from the store) that there were dinner sets available.
I believe the next big NEXT sale is boxing day. If you join their online mailing list you will be kept informed of what time the online sale starts. I got some fab bargains there last year (e,g, 150 pounds winter coat for 25 pounds).
Got most of my stuff packed into boxes now - can't wait to move into my new place :j

ps - I admit it, I am a NEXT sale maniac - I've been going for years!"Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?" (Douglas Adams)0 -

If you have got a Tesco near you, ours had a big clearout on packets of pjs, 2prs girls cats pjs £3.50 instead of £8.00, even Disney Princess and Tinkerbell were 1/2price, they weren't on the sale rack, just in normal position.
Sounds like youve had a very productive day - well done on the freezers, hope you had the chocie treat. xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0
