Oh 3_cheeky_princesses! That poor cheeky little girl of yours!! Fingers crossed for some answers soon!
Mary-op - glad to hear your OH seems to be feeling a bit better!
mum2one - love the Merry Crunchmas!! And thank you for the posting dates!! I was wondering what they were just the other day!
Well I ended up in hospital all day yesterday! Basically had a routine growth scan first thing (everythign fine!) and when meeting with the registrar after the scan, I happened to mention that since the accident two weeks ago, one part of the back of my knee/lower thigh/upper calf was swollen, no sign of bruising, and completley numb to the touch. Well to make a long story short, I was sent to the ward, had a detailed scan on my leg to check for blood clots, (none thankfully), did find a 'mass' at the area but they said it was either a cyst, or more likely because of the accident it was a deep bruise that still hadn't come out yet! However, I then spent most of the day waiting for a doctor to come see me! Fair play though, I was low priority and she was rushed off her feet, and she confirmed that it was probably deep bruising. Had to laugh though when she was writing up the notes, and I was chatting to the ward matron before leaving. Matron asked me if I had someone to give me a lift, I said I'd driven in (and have been driving for two weeks!). They looked at me in shock and then laughed because the over caucious registrar that first saw me wanted me to be refered to orthapaedics!! Over caucious, over reacting registrar, but at least I now know that it's not tendon damage or something! Shame I spent so long in the hospital to find it out though! lol Hey ho!
Hope everyone else is well and doing wonderful christmassy things! Not including today, I have 3 days left in work til maternity leave!! Yippee!!

I know lots of you do craft fairs and am wondering if any of you are doing the Waters Edge one at Barton tomorrow. I am off for the day and hoping that I can possibly pick up a present for a friend. I am aiming to make lots of my gifts for Christmas but have realised how little time I have so if any of you are there I will check out your stall. Kate :hello:0

Don't know if anyone goes to the Body Shop, but if you spend over £25.00 in store, they give you a free coconut with shimmer body butter, worth £12.50 + if your a "love your Bodyshop" member, they take 20% off the order.
Got some lovely sets - shower gel, small body butter, small scrub, scrunchie and soap, lot of different fragance inc Shea Nut (never usually on offer) reduced from £17.50 to £12.00 (the shower gel + small body butter would be £12 if you buy them seperatly.

Must have spent most of my time on the phone to hospital today (least it felt like it) trying to find out about OH's biopsy appt................secretary for the chest/respiratory clinic was off till Monday..........another secretary for similar dept. also off till Monday, Lady who phoned us on Tuesday off till 30thh !!! I must have phoned every dept. in that hospital (slight exaggeration) Ended up with gastronomy dept. (clutching at straws by now)..........she said she couldn't help me but chest clinic lady was working tomorrow and she'd get her to phone me. By now steams coming out my ears so I told her 'thankyou, you've been very kind, unlike other departments however, I think it's ludicrous that there is no-one at any chest clinic to speak to...........a letter of formal complaint will be sent.............etc.etc.....
5 minutes later I get phone call back to say OH's appt. is on Tuesday -not sure of time ? - and he has to go to hospital for blood test 9.30 Monday morning  Bit short notice (thinking transport ????) but OH said he'll be ok to drive and he'll drive for biopsy as well - lady was unsure till I told her it'll be a local anesthetic so he insists he'll be fine.
So thats that................dread to think when they'd have actually told us about all this if I hadn't phoned.
Plus side..........despite steam coming out of ears it got sorted, young girl came up and hoovered providing me with calming cuppas at the same time and I had my first Christmas card..........:T
Started to make some felt hearts and xmas trees -well two............cut them out but thats as far as I got.
Have actually cleared out all the rubbish now in the spare room so carpet was visible enough to be hoovered:TI would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Mum2One - Someone's been reading their Tesco mag lol. Thanks for the tips!
Mary-Op glad you finally got your OH's apt - I totally sympathise about the awkward hospital thing, I had bleeding in early pregnancy this time and spent most of a day on the phone trying to get appointment with a particular clinic (after being advised by midwife to get emergency apt that day) and got passed between so many different departments I got dizzy! In the end it took so long the clinic had closed and I had to wait another day!
Best of luck to him next week, hope it all turns out ok.
Our town has the Xmas lights up! I only noticed this evening so don't know when it happened but made me feel all xmassy again.
I can't find a decent fake tree so I think we'll end up with a real one again after all. All the fake ones I see seem to have silly lights or cones AND berries (not botanically possible!) which would annoy me...
Still got to wrap OH's stocking stuff, wrap BIL's present, write cards (and get addresses for them!) and post parcels soon.
Bought a few more xmassy foodie bits yesterday, a tin of choc orange and bottles of schloer for those of us not drinking (that'll just be me then lol and maybe my 13 year old sister). Need to hide them from myself now, in case they go the way of the last 3 tins of choccies...
Got OH's tax bill today, £800 due by end of Januray, guess that's what my maternity grant will be paying for!June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

Ah tax bills, not nice, have you tried Argos for the christmas trees, they have a good selection, you can buy them either with decorations or without.
