Grand plan on the housework front is going well but need to start taking it easy cos I hurt my back yesterday cleaning floor on hands and knees and am suffering for it( need to remember I'm 8 months pregnant)!, lucky I had my chiropractor appointment today!!!

Went to home bargains yesterday and bought 3 months supply of toilet paper and kitchen roll(plus christmassy ones), loads more creative kits and things to do for dd when the baby comes. Also seen a bubble making machine for 7pounds to put away for daughter for christmas. And christmas sacks for 15p (think it's a pack of 5). all part of the "I'm going to hibernate over winter with my new baby plan".
  • scattymam1- you must be so excited!! do you know if its a girl or a boy yet?

I'm not as organised as everyone on here but iv bought ALLL of my xmas cards almost £20 for the lot  so im def going to buy cards after xmas this year. I've got 3 presents to get my my DD and shes finished, I got my sisters presents yesterday, I pretty much know what i'm getting for everyone..except my 18 year old brother....hes VERY fussy! I've just got to get the sweets for my mums xmas stocking, She LOVES the foam Banana sweets so i was thinking of buy a jar and filling that up wiv them for her stocking, anyone know where i can get one? Also does anyone know where i can get airtight storage from? At the moment my DD presents are at my grandparents (as they hv 2 spare rooms and i have none) and their moaning about it! But i can't put them straight into my attic because they'll end up damp.

 just had CashMyGold on the phone, I saw an advert and thought i'd give it a go, so i sent off all the jewellery that my ex bought me (from H.Samuel to) and they sent me a cheque for £7.34!!!!! so i sent it back STRAIGHT away (which was about a week and a half ago) The guy has only just phoned me to see if they could give me a better offer of £15, like i said to him i could make more money off ebay on just one of the items, he said 'but it will cost us alot of money to send them back!' and now i have to wait upto 21days to get it back which is alot different to the 7-10 days the 1st person told me! - rant over with!

I've tried so hard to start cleaning my house 4 xmas, but it just ends up a mess again so i'm going to COMPLETELY declutter it this week and save the cleanin til the end of nov/ beginning of dec.

Tonight i plan on going for a walk down the woods, putting DD to bed, lighting my mulled wine scented candle (they smell gorgeous!!!) and I'm goin to write all my cards and start my wrapping...i would play xmas music as well, but my walls are very thin and my neighbour will prob think i'm a loon for playing it so early.

Have a nice day everyone!! xxx :santa2:

yup kayleigh, I'm having a boy, very excited and so ready for him now, can't wait to see how my dd is with him, she's so excited too.

I love the banana sweet idea, try pound shops or home bargains for jars, supermarkets will probs have the sweets really cheap too and then add a ribbon et voila.

Am home now and fixed by the chiropractor so need to rest a bit but am going to try and finish my shopping online while i'm resting...may mae my tags and cards tonight.

Hello all...............well never did get around to clearing my other desk top so its still full of 'stuff'.
Had meeting with my support worker I'd forgot about........
Had quick tidy up round the house and managed to make a cupcake case that would fit the purple bed socks I've got for my friends birthday bag of stuff so thats another thing done I kept forgetting about.
Quick look at covered notebooks and one looked really boring so I've peeled off the paper and going to have another go. Make lovely sketch book for sons girlfriend......if I can fit it in her christmas shoe box...
    I'll face that challenge tomorrow I think...............:rotfl:
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Wow- I don't make it to the site for a week and have 15 pages to catch up on when I return. Suffice to say there have been a few issues at work that have left me a little stressed, but fingers crossed they will sort themselves out.

Everyone is so organized. I haven't done too badly, but still feel like you all put me to shame! Got some lovely clothes for my nieces and nephews from M&S at the weeknd (had a 20% voucher) and also some of the Extemely Chocolately biccies on BOGOF along with the half price Belgian Choccies.

Hvae all my wrap/bows/tags etc and just a few more cards to get.

    Christmas here I come!!
