    Not sure what to do about posting what with the strikes that they reckon are likely. Do I post megga early to try and make sure they arrive or do I take a chance and leave it till end of November ?

    Ive been wondering the same. Im not sure what to do; it seems too early, but like you say, is the end of November going to be too late.............??? :confused::confused:
    :)Sometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying:)

    I wouldn't worry about it just yet - it's only the 11th October, guys.
    Reason for edit? Can spell, can't type!
  • They have to give a minimun of 7 days notice to strike so if they do release a date for the strike pop your cards in the post as soon as you hear as then any post will have a week to get to the receiver before the strike starts.

  • Hi girls,

    I'm so happy spent last night and most of this morning overhauling finances etc etc and found out that i had some cash hidden away in a (dreaded) Premium Bond I had previously forgotten about I'm off to get a form tomorrow to withdraw my money to then put it in an ISA :D ready for my holiday July 2010 :D
    I have written three reviews tonight on Dooyoo (one of them was 1,200 words!!:eek: A lot for me :D) and have thoroughly enjoyed it seeing as i had not written a review for a good few months - i needed to get inspired :D so i'm three steps closer to gaining a amazon voucher or a cheque.:j
    Oh yeah, i've gained an extra day's work extra £20 and maybe even a night shift where i get paid £72 (probably be less though thanks to my boss:rolleyes:)

    To Do List (for tomorrow)

    :: Fill out Premium Bond withdrawal form and send off
    :: Phone up EMA ask for a contract (AGAIN)
    :: Go to College
    :: Send off mobile to envirophone
    :: Go to work :mad:
    :: Apply online for job vacancies and Christmas temping
    :: Tidy Bedroom
    :: Tidy Lounge
    :: Return rate on dooyou
    :: Daily Clicks

    Think that's about it lol also got a 'To Buy' List but its a bit long lmao:rotfl:

    Well done JS - how very organised of you!

    I'm currently making next year's birthday cards (there's a code for 10 free cards from touchnote on the freebies board) while the baby sleeps.

    Today's to do list:

    [STRIKE]- make the birthday cards[/STRIKE] says code's not valid :mad:
    [STRIKE]- return rate on dooyoo
    - rate some on dooyoo
    - write another dooyoo review[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]- or two[/STRIKE]
    - pay my embarrassing transport fine
    [STRIKE]- buy a mini fridge from somewhere[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]- reply to emails that are building up[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]- place an ad for transcription service[/STRIKE]
    - fill in and return the health insurance form
    [STRIKE]- package up[/STRIKE] and post birthday gift to friend
    - express milk
    - start writing the conclusion to the working paper

    Hmm. That's a lot to be getting on with.

    Mornign all.

    Everyone seems to have had a productive weekend!!

    Men - don't buy an ex ANYTHING. Waste of money!

    I've finally decided what I'm getting brother's girlfriend. I'm doing her a purple & green relaxing hamper. She hates pink, and is quite quirky, so she'll love the colours. Got some bits and bobs for it this weekend at B&M, so it's almost there! Yeay!

    I REALLY need to get back on dooyoo and get some more reviews written!!

    SugarSpun - love your list of things to do including 'express milk'! hehe

    Xmas Caper :rotfl:

    Marge lost her handbag in the hustle and bustle of Xmas shopping in Regent Street, London.
    A small boy found it and he returned to her. Looking in her purse, Marge reasoned, 'Hmmm.... that's strange. When I lost my bag there was a £20 note in it. Now there are four £5 notes.'
    The boy quickly replied with a charming smile and in a cockney accent, 'That's right, madam. The last time I found a lady's purse, she didn't have any change for a reward.'

    ;)

    I always do this, have a big tub of batteries all year round especially the AA and AAA ones I always make a tub up ready for Xmas morning too, that includes batteries, sissors, small screwdrivers, bin bags etc... so I have everything at hand for the big unwrapping session. Nothing worse than routing around at the back of the draw for sissors to get rid of those plastic tags wrapped round all the toys;)

    We now have dozens of AA rechargeables and a number of 'Adapter Cases' great and simple things that allow you to use AA where a C or D Battery is needed - saves a lot of hassle about having the right size recharged at any one time (Usually when the toy runs out!)
