Do they supply the man to go with it!:pxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Very organised today- sat in the kitchen, trying to get father to make the sausage + tomato casserole.
Dusted down the dust off the George Formun, it even cooked onions in it, they were brilliant.
We managed to do 21 portions of casserole for total price £12.
They've gone in single portions in freezer.
Cheating slightly 2mor, we brought some mincemeat from Lidi, £1.49 big jar, so said we'd try it, the plan was do it 2day, put it to soak with a gd shaky hand of sherry.
So had to cheat + buy a packet of pastry mix. Have a bash 2mor at them.xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -

I'm pleased that I've made good purchases throughout the year; the trick now will be to stay disciplined and stick with the presents I've already got people, rather than adding to it, and undoing all that hard work. So far, I've managed by sailing past it all feeling smug, because I don't need to worry about any of it - it's all in hand :-)
I'm glad I'm not the only one who does that, with the presents, so far I've only added to my mates, had a free trenchcoat from Redroute, and think she'll have the 3rd of the Boots set.
Just keep looking at the money saved, and the bargains you've got, and everyone else running around like headless chicks, then u wont be tempted to overspend.
Bailey loves the splint, its the same colour as his squeaky toys... xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Just don't let him chew on it, or you'll be right back where you started.Reason for edit? Can spell, can't type!0

Went in to Boots today to pick up the Christmas catalogue in preparation for my annual shop for freebies! Lady on the way in gave me a voucher saying "Spend £25 instore today and you'll get a fiver off". Hubby says "Don't tell her that we've only come in for the catalogue" - off we go for a little walk round, not to buy understand but to "look" Half an hour later, came out with a Ted Baker perfume & Make up set (£25) and 2 Front Cover Lip & Eye sets (£15 each) on 3 for 2 so saved the £15, plus the voucher £20, plus got given a £5 no 7 voucher - best thing is hubby paid !!!!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
PS - to the poster who said they were loving the Front Cover stuff - it looks brilliant!!!Motto: You gotta be in it to win it!:j

whoosh caught up on about 15 pages...and has kicked me up the bum to get things done...really need to finish things this week I am way past my cut off date. And baby due in about 4 weeks...
I have saved a fortune mind and the house is very organised(more than usual). Right here's something...I bought a charlie and lola t-shirt cheap on ebay, it has it's tags on...brand new but it smells foul, like it was from a smokers house... if I wash it ( may have to wash twice), the giftee will know as it will smell of wash powder, may be able to take off tags and tie back on with ribbon instead of plastic thingy...so anyone know how to get rid of smoky smell without it stinking big time?? it was really cheap...!
gonna write my cards today and address them and everything
need to finish any buying
taking dad to toys r us this week to help him buy dd's present off him
then just need to wrap everything and tag (make tags)
Giving myself til friday!
would love to disappear to some country cottage for christmas, where we could get snowed in...not going to happen though but I can dream!
it is doable but I'm bad for just buying stuff...hate spending!!!0 -
Do they supply the man to go with it!:p
Tell me about it! Could do with one and mine is now an ex and guess what he's hooked straight up with someone else. I can't write what I think about this
Anyway I asked him what he wanted for his birthday and he just shrugged and said get me anything. I feel like dumping his present on his drive with a bow thrown ontop.
Guess that makes another mahoosive box of Thorntons for me then at Christmas instead of him.
Bought 3 yesterday at Sainsbugs on offer at £5.49 as I didn't make it into town as a result of ex OHfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550
