Ben still wants his camera though but I saw the bike in B& M for £70 that I want to get for him to so will be trying to get a few extra shifts to get that for him as well.
Are you planning on getting ben a kids one? like the Vtech? if so Don't. I got the Vtech one for DS1 2 years ago, yes it was tough and didn't break when it got dropped but it cost a blinking fortune in battery's, we were lucky if DS1 got 20/30 mins out of it when it had batterys in it and it took 4  even using the £1 shop one still cost a fortune. And you know what kids are like they leave it on until they see something they want to take a pic of then thye find the batteries don't work  If he is really into taking pictures and by the sounds your boyfriend is too try get him a basic digital one that will take better pictures and the batteries will last longer they are only the same price and sometimes cheaper. I noticed Argos had a good selection in yesterday and they had some basic camcorders too that also took pictures, my son loves his camcorder, we have just bought him a hd one that is a bit more grown up as he will be 9 this year.
Sorry didn't mean to sound so bossy just I made the mistake of buying one and DS1 got so frustrated with it don't want you having the same trouble as me.

Where's the Coffee?? Show me the Coffee NOW!!0 -
Thanks Sarah
Maybe that is a better idea then and will just make sure it has a wrist strap so i can secure it to his arm instead. Think maybe that might be a safer option actually too.
Think he seems to be more sports orientated at the minute too so think a bike is more appropriate as his main gift. xTime to find me again0 -
Oooo, It feels like Christmas is almost upon us today! I was picking up some shopping and had to nip in BHS as I spotted they'd put their christmas stock out, this is my sign that Christmas is on its way. Also popped into the Range so my LO could see the christmas lights they had up, this year is the one where he is beginning to get an understanding of Christmas, the lights, sounds, smells etc, makes it so much more exciting for me & I have so many plans for the kids this year to take advantage of that.
Last night I order most of the ingredients for my christmas cake along with my online shop, also popped in a black forest gateau and ferrero rocher to have on christmas day, or new year, not sure which. Then picked up the rest of the ingredients which I could get cheaper while out shopping. Feels so nice to be ahead.
We're now not sure if we're having Christmas dinner at OHs parents or at home now as they've said it depends on his sisters mood closer to the time. She can be a right moody sour puss & after over 15 years of her being in a right mood on Christmas day they decided enough is enough, if shes in a good mood closer to the time they'll have a family meal, if she isnt then they'll have Christmas dinner alone. Its a good job I was getting the food in for a new years dinner otherwise I'd be fuming! You cant take a step forward with both feet on the ground0 -

I've just ordered all my ribbon, bows and cellophane tonight from ebay. All in plenty of time to arrive and struggle to wrap up prettily!
All in for £20
3 lots of 10 pull bows
3 lots of florists ribbon
2 lots of 10m cello
Pretty pleased at being this organised this year!
Just need to focus on a few things left to buy now for one birthday and 2 christmas presents.
Better do a present list update for the challenge this month!
Plus ordered my meat and cheese hamper today ready for Dec delivery. Not completely cheap or MS but I decided to treat myself and my family to this and relax myself from stressing running around town trying to get the equivalent closer to the time. Plus with the money made on ebay will pay for it closer to the time alongside presents.
Feel like I am getting there, leaving time for a pretty relaxed December for a change!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
