To update, i've had a reply from Halfcost. I am not a happy bunny:

    Dear Mrs xxxxxx

Thank you for your recent e-mail. Due to the item being originally advertised with alcohol included, we found that the vast majority of our customers were not happy to only receive the glass and accordingly most wanted the items to be cancelled. Managment made the decision to remove the item from sale and agreed to cancel and refund the affected orders wherever possible.
Sorry for any disappointment caused by this.
    Regards
    Darryl Patrick

There is no mention of WHEN i will receive the refund or when i will get the fishing and football glasses or if i will be refunded for those too???
    :mad::mad::mad:

Thats weird, when I originally placed the orders I went through the descriptions with a fine tooth comb, (after my little incident - thought Id ordered 80 xmas cards, it wasn't it was 800), although all the alcohol products were shown as glasses + alcohol, in the descriptions it was just vodka + sambuka that had the alcohol.

Usually theres a note on the bottom of invoice saying refunded, if you check on line or ring the "company" whose card you used their be able to tell you if any refunds have been issued.

From the sounds of your email, it does sound like your not getting the glasses, (sorry), if theres no refunds on your card by friday email them again.

In all honeslty, this is the 1st time I've had any problems with them, just annoying when it happens.
    xx

Very organised, just wrote 30 party invites for dd..........,
    Done some more dooyoo reviews,
Finished sleeve off on jumper, the idea was I did the front + back, mum did the sleeves, but for some reason, my mother!! got in her temper tantrums threw the wool across the floor - dont think it helped that Bailey has taken an absolute hate to this red wool, as soon as he sees it, hes nicking the wool, pulling the stitches off, or aiming for the jumper!

Needed it for thurs, friends little boys 1st bday, he has everything, and I wasn't hunting round toy shops, so for £2.00 (cost of wool), he has a lovely red jumper with a boat on it. x

    Hey everyone,

Threadless.com have a $9 sale on all their shirts today, so if you have men that are hard to buy for this is a good day to buy. They also have kids' stuff - I bought the monster four little printed vests.

Economy shipping is $9, so you can buy three items and shipping and come in below the customs limit. You can also do more than one order ;)

    Three gifts left to buy
  • Hello all, another Christmas nut here. I am well on with my planning and crafting, but we still have to decide whether we're travelling or staying put this year, which is hindering me somewhat. Lots of homemade presents this year - large batches of knitted facecloths are stashed away, just to have soaps added. I've enjoyerd reading all the adventures recently, but had problems with logging in so can only start chatting now.

Sorted out my gifts again last night and have put some in gift bags and sealed them up. Looking for a green gift bag (should be able to findone of those nearer Xmas) and a purple one as some of my presents were colour themed. Found red gold blue and pink in 99p stores.
