irishgirl - thanks for that. Brilliant site -love the Joy wall hanger & snowman tic tacs, -they'd make a nice little pressie for boys -I've done key ring post it notes for girls and wondered what I could balance it out with.

Think I'll have to have a go at the loo roll snowman.......I did a loo roll wrapped up with a poem last year and this'll make it a bit different.
Couldn't see what the poem was on the video though.........any ideas ?

I have a recipe for a light fruit cake which I used to make our Christmas cake 2 years ago and will be doing again this weekend. I will post tomorrow when I have more time and am not being asked to dance at all the music in The Night Garden by DD...

Asked my sister who is always quick to spot a bargain to keep a look out for hat boxes today - she asked me what I wanted them for, and when I said to put MIL Christmas presents in, looked at me as tho I was mad....

Please can i join the Christmas 24th challenges and everything else?

I have almost got all my 18 month old presents thank to the Boots sale back in January but still have my other children and families to get!

I am off now to read thru the thread & catch up which may actually take me until Christmas! :eek:

Welcome to the thread, were mad as hatters, but you couldn't find another nicer set of people.

If its any help pg 1 as got the links to the challenges and to the sister thread, money making ideas, and theres a thrifty online blog, reminded me need to put link on front pages.
