Oxfam have some gorgeous journals half price on the Unwrapped site if anyone's like me and not crafty enough to make one pretty. There's a lot of reduced fair trade stuff as well as the second hand shop.

Hello everyone, I've started looking on all of the Christmas threads, this one, the Christmas Eve Hampers and the orgainised one for help, advice and ideas for Christmas.
I've picked up many ideas and the hampers are written down with what to get and the theme alongside gift tag messages.
The aim is a thoughtful Christmas and to spend only budgeted amounts. Doing ok so far with the plans and scouring the shops for bargains!
I better have a look back on here for the santas challenges - can anyone tell me what they are?final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Fed Up - Think they are all on the first page of the thread chick - might be second post.
I know there was
one to make - a Christmas folder - a4 folder for all your Christmas preparation things
one to defrost the freezer
one to get all the school uniform written down that you needed - cant remember the non mum challenge though
and there is a new one due on the 24th of this month
SPEAKING OF WHICH - does anyone else have a Rudolph day?? like the 25th of the month like some other sites have??? that's just dedicated to Christmas planning/crafts???Time to find me again0 -
Thanks sammy, you're a great crafter by the look of it!
I'm not a mum so no need to worry about uniforms!
Thanks for the tips I'll take a look again on the first page and write them down.
I have a dedicated notebook for my Christmas pressies and preparations instead of a folder and a drawer for the wrapping paper, tissue paper, ribbon and bows, quite well prepared in this area
The freezer challenge is the main one for me. I am working through the freezer at the moment as it is stuffed full of food that needs eating and can make room for Christmas food and more batch cooking and casseroles when it gets a little cooler and colder.
Looking forward to joining in and getting more ideas and tips from all of you. For my brother's birthday I made him a car care hamper which he really liked! I wasn't sure if he would and I was surprised by his reaction!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Ordered 3 Twilight books, they were the special edition red edge ones. One came Thursday but they sent the normal white one so emailed them and they sent out the red one for me instead. Was out yesterday and they all turned up so have got to go up the town to pick them up from the sorting office.
These are for my youngest daughter and I am going to make her a quilt for her bed too at my class when I start at the end of Sept. Went to the shop yesterday where the classes are to be held and the woman had one hanging in the shop for sale and it had a price tag of £480!!!0 -
Been busy this morning making tea bags of various sorts to put all the little bits and pieces in that I've made or got from charity shops...........just another way of wrapping really but at least when they open their shoe boxes it all might look a bit 'better' than it actually is..............lol
Now I;m grabbing my book and making the best of the sunshine I think:jI would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
