Funky rubber ducks (multi coloured, i've even seen an army one on ebay), Or some led bath lights, a personalised towel, themed swim bag. There's some good bits on studio or amazon, but have a shop around:D

I love JordanShannon's and Sarah's ideas! Also how about a flannel and bath crayons? Bath crayons are fab and are just what it says, special crayons that you can use to write on the bath. They don't leave a mark and wipe off fine.0 -
sammy - just goes to show how nice people can be..........and good for you helping the old lady out.......I'm a great believer in 'what goes around comes around'.
Been to boot fair this morning...........got some floral vellum paper, box of felt flowers (pink and purple), some little 'sayings' to stick on cards and some brown flowers. Then I bought a couple of shopping bags -big enough to put my friends birthday presents in and she gets to keep the bag...............the other one I think I might keep for myself -was only 50p.
Got home and sat making little gift bags out of the vellum just to make a bit of 'cheapy nonsense' look a bit more interesting than it is...................lol
Oh and got some post it notes but they're only smallacks.............-might make it easier to make post it holders (I hope):rotfl:
Had good poke about in spare room and looks like I still need a few bits and pieces.............looking at the room it's full to bursting but when I actually sort bits out I seem to have loads for some people and not much for othersbad planning on my part...............ho hum........it'll all come good
Well done Mary, you did so well! I'm hoping to go to a boot sale next week.
The flowers sound lovely and I love the sound of the sayings to put on greeting cards.
I had the same idea as you, I think giving presents in reusable bags is a good idea, saves buying gift bags, they form part of the present itself and can be used again and again. I bought the pale green Winnie the Pooh and Piglet reusable one from the Disney Store for £2 and gave it to a friend with her presents in for her birthday.0 -
I've covered shoe boxes for most people -easier to post - but some of my friends bits and pieces are an awkward shape so the bag is ideal.
Keep getting stuck on what to get teenage grandson........I'm determined to do as I did last year -get stuff from charity shop or concoct it myself (he had pickled bums last year...........lol and I got him some condoms............he's asked for some this year.............lol) It his and his sisters birthday as well so twice the brain power needed. Grandaughter is easy........anything that's 'girlie' will suit.I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

How about making a little black book? From a charity shop how about a dvd or a wallet? Do you have music software on your computer? If so you could make a cd of his favourite songs or buy an album from a charity shop. Does he have a part-time job, would he have need for a tie? Does he like chocolates or biscuits? You could make him some maybe? Someone on here was making a book about hints and tips for getting a girlfriend/pulling that had contributions from friends and family, if you are giving him condoms that would go well!
I'll see if I can think of anything else.0 -

Morning crafty ladies - Halfcost have a craft hole punching set for £2.
I'm fighting the urge to buy more stuff - my family generally operates a pyramid kind of deal for Christmas involving one great gift, a few medium-fabulous gifts and a bunch of entertaining/mildly useful tat. Over time my bargain habit has meant I'm overwhelmingly in charge of the tat but the urge to go overboard must be restrained.
I'm logging off now just to be on the safe sideOrganised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
Three gifts left to buy0
