Oh dear..............I'm way behind you lot. My kitchen cupboards don't bear thinking about. The cutlery drawer is ok but as for the rest............... Still, this might spur me on to actually do something instead of looking and quickly closing the drawer//cupboard.
Must get OH on this one as well...................lol

Spent all morning making yet more little gift bags to conceal what really is a bit of rubbish..............lol
Apart from that done not a lot...............oh dear......lazy me. I seem to have it down to a fine art ............:rotfl:
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Post Pals Secret Reindeer - 9 cards

Sammy, I volunteer with Post Pals too! I got so excited when I saw your message :j
I've been with them from nearly the beginning, when we only had 5 pals and it's great to see how big it's growing.

I had a great morning shopping, it was my first designated 'bargain Christmas present' trip and it was so much fun! I couldn't wait to come on here and tell you all about it :)

In charity shops I managed to find:
    * A brand new white toiletries case with LOTS of brand new unopened bathy stuff. It will make a lovely present and was only £2.80
    * A pot of anti-wrinkle night cream - unopened £2. For my Mum (she requested it, I won't be insulting her!)
    * A brand new gift box of Boot fortune cookie bath bombs. When they disolve they leave a waterproof fortune - £2

    * Reduced jewellery in Primark - necklace and earring set £1
    - lovely dangly copper bracelet £1

I also went in Poundland and picked up 3 of the little toolboxes that were mentioned on here. I plan to fill them with sweets and little gifts to make a nice present for my nephew and niece. So thank you to whoever mentioned them, they are ideal.

    xx

Went to the bootfair yesterday but didnt find any pink coloured fabrics at all. Was hoping to find some skirts or dresses I could use the material from for my quilt but nothing suitable, it needs to be 100% cotton. Have ordered a few nice bits off Ebay but it is quite expensive buying it by the fat quarter and money has run out for another week or so. Then I will only have 2 weeks left to get everything needed before the course starts.

As for Santas challenge, I have sorted most of my kitchen cupboards out already as did them all before OH's party in case someone went looking for cups etc.

Have to get daughter a new blouse for school which will hopefully be about £10, she has to wear special striped ones which I cant buy anywhere except from the school wear shops. But I am only getting the one as next year she changes uniform.

Have decided at the moment not to make cards this year as I have just about run out of bits to make them with and would cost me more to buy in new stuff than to buy the cards as I dont send that many. Saw some nice ones reduced in Card Factory last week but didnt have the money to get them. Most probs will have sold out by next week.

I too would like to be involved in the make a tenner by October challenge - ebay is my best bet!

Am always on the look out for bits to put away for Christmas - bought my dd a baby Annabel, carry cot and lots of clothes from the market for £4 last week, couldn't believe my luck - she will love it!
Made a start on my hampers too - just looking for a popcorn box for the movie hamper - can anyone advise, I know someone mentioned earlier they had bought one - I have seen a couple of websites, but with the postage they work out quite expensive

Also, doubled up on my Tesco vouchers last week, and bought £60 of wine and Asti (including mini bottles for hampers) for £30! Have had to hide it though so my OH doesn't get his mitts on it before Christmas!

    Santa's Challenges:

    Folder made and organised
Freezer cleaned and all contents listed
School uniform just needs name tags - probably do this tomorrow!
Kitchen cupboards and drawers - great idea, I know I have most of the ingredients to make Christmas cake, but need to check dates and if anything missing!

Thanks for this thread, it is SOOOO exciting!
