    I am addicted to Christmas!!!

Not very arty or crafty but gonna give it a go this year as I am fed up buying all the usual gifts for adults and usually buy for the sake of it.

    Number of people : 18 (12 adults & 6 kids from age 2 to 10)

    Budget: £600 or thereabouts

Actual spend: £300 so far (vouchers from surveys etc has helped)

    Presents completed:

    5 pamper hampers
SIL's present (apart from some foodie stuff)
    2 of the kids
3 small bottles of Toffee Vodka (for foodies)
Apricot & Orange Chutney (for foodies)

    1/2 done:

    1 Movie Nights hamper
    1 more pamper hamper
    1 toddler
    4 hampers for males
(2 of them foodie so some will be put in last thing)

    Not yet started:

other 3 kids although I know what they are getting

Seeing it written down like this is very encouraging for me and looking at my "calendar" of tasks to complete each month, I see I am well ahead.:o

Actual cost: staggeringly over £600 - this money saving malarky is great!

Ooh can I join in please (I do love making Christmas lists!)

Number of people to buy for: 29

    Budget: around £600

    Spent so far: around £200

    Have bought:

all the stuff for my husband's rugby hamper, just need a container to pack it into

my daughter's main pressies (Baby Annabel and a Disney Princess dressing up outfit)

my younger son's main pressie (VTech Kiddizoom)

all the stuff for my 2 sons' rugby hampers, just need containers

basket, jars, cellophane etc to make my mum a foody hamper (just need to make the stuff!)

baskets, jars, cellophane etc to make 3 foody baskets

    6 x other pressies

mugs and cellophane to fill with fudge for kids' teachers

vouchers for friends' kids/nieces and nephews

yarn and pattern to knit dolls/mascots for my three kids

    Still need to buy:

DS Lite for eldest son (will be buying this next month with a £10 off voucher I have for Argos)

Mother in law, Father in Law, Sister in law: not sure yet, may well be vouchers as that's what they appreciate.

Stocking fillers for my three kids.

I have spent around £200 on stuff so far, but if I had paid full price for it all it would have cost around £400 so I'm quite pleased with that :D

    Presents completed/half done/nowt yet

    Completed: 2
Half Done: 4 (including a Pink Hamper which I have most of the stuff for but no basket!)

    Original/Proper cost of prezzies? £72.82

Doesn't look all that good really does it.... lol Better than this time of year in previous years mind. Plus my excuse is that we've just cleared a LOAD of junk out from the house, re-organised the attic, re-organised the dark room (it literally was a dark room when hubby first moved into the house - he built it into one of the larger bedrooms - now it's just a decent sized walk in storage area!!), changed the one spare room to a proper working study/exercise bike room/second living room, and the other spare room has been stripped out, decorated and has new carpet ready for being the nursery!!! Buying the furniture tonight - very excited!!

    Big hello to all newbies!!!!
