  • Hello everyone!!!

I know i'm a bit late but please can I join?
Already been on a few of the other Christmas threads. Doing quite well, have a few children sorted out already. Also got my cellophane and hot chocolate ready for my snowman soup. Also have got quite a lot of vouchers from surveys etc and OH from his work incentives (although I have to prise them off him!).
I like the idea of a challenge too. Have many dividers and folders so will try and locate one. Went on the organised Christmas site a few days ago, I was amazed and downloaded lots of their lists/tables. I have my "present book" where I've noted each pressie i've bought and how much. Otherwise I forget what I've bought and over buy!
How exciting - am on my way to work now. Will have to read through the thread another time!

    Hello everyone!!!

I know i'm a bit late but please can I join?

    Welcome to the thread LMMS!!!!
and hopefully you wont become too addicted!

Picked up a few more bits today - managed to get another plastic princess beaker today for my nieces princess hamper so they have matching beakers so no arguments - its this one and was only 99p in B&M

Also picked up a new 2010 diary for my nan from Pound land - it has a single page for each date and at the minute is purple so thinking i will decorate it myself fro her somehow along the lines of a mum book but for a nan instead. Needing inspiration though but might visit the card making shop in town tomorrow and see if they have any nice bits and pieces
    Time to find me again

Just gone on coke zone to add some more points and noticed they have a sale on the gift rewards

    http://www.cokezone.co.uk/home/catalogue/listRewards/Passions?mapKey=specialFilter&mapValue=SALE_ITEMS

Some little bits that could become pressies or used in hampers

FMW - I don't have any photos on the hamper thread, the one I showed on here was the only hamper I remembered to take a photo of! From then on I take photos of everything so will post them as and when.

Sammy - I agree with Paddington, Poundland always has Radox in stock.

Irishgirlt2 - your makes are just stunning, I love them.

Sarah - loving your Christmas purchases!

If anyone is doing pamper or girly hampers, Poundland have a few Rimmel and Maybelline make-up bits. They also have eyelash curlers and loads of other bits and pieces.

The Body Shop has a sale on at the moment so it may be worth a visit in there. I don''t know if someone mentioned it here or if I saw it somewhere else but they have a vanity case with five items reduced from £35 to £7.50. I bought two today, the cases aren't as sturdy framed or as big as they look but still a bargain, you could add to it or take the contents it comes with and use them for something else or keep them for yourself! http://www.thebodyshop.co.uk/_en/_gb/catalog/product.aspx?ParentCatCode=C_Sale&CatCode=C_Sale_SaleGifts&prdcode=58806m

Santa was at Harrods today to open their Christmas shop!

What is B&M and Mr T?

Just a quick pointer re BodyShop vanity bags they were originally to do with body shop at home parties -
Main point -check inside the bags as they have a £5 off when u spend £20.00 -they did the bags in 2 colours, brown and cream, the voucher in the brown bag expired March 2009
    xx

xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

I didn't know about Harrods until I heard to women talking in Matalan, well more like moaning, Saying OMG how can anyone think about christmas now it's months off:confused: If only they knew they were stood next to a christmas nutter...:rotfl:

B&M is like home bargins, a really cheap shop, loads of stuff from cleaning bits to toys. There is a really big one near my mums house that also stocks big furniture, carpets, paints and wall papers. So we always Pop in when I'm down at my mums (and spend a fortune) Infact I'm going again today seen a few bits I want for my bathroom and need to get some carpet tiles for the stairs.
