Fact of the matter is if they take £2300 out of my bank account over the next 12 months where do you think it will end up, I do have other obligations which I then wont be able to pay. I dont want anyone to pay it for me, or "hold my hand". I just CANNOT afford that much per month.

Yes they are accurate readings and I have already spoken to one of your advisers to no avail.

And I have also turned down the hot water tank, as thats the only gas getting used it seems to be costing me a fortune.

In Eon's account to cover your usage, where else do you think it goes?
  • What I mean is it will leave me with less than is going into the account after other obligations, one way or another I'll be going to court, either with Eon or any number of other companies, or all of them.

Chances of Eon cutting me off with 2 kids in the house....zero.

I think I'd take my chances v Eon than say Barclays or my mortgage company.

    Chances of Eon installing a pre-payment meter...100%

So you will be forced to pay off your debt and the power will turn off when the emergency credit on the meter runs out.

Despicable attitude. Nice way to raise your children.
  • What would you rather I do, make them homeless?

Don't let it go to court! If you do you will face charges in the hundreds in warrant costs! Do not let it get to that stage! You need to get the meters changed to prepayment meters if you can't afford the monthly payments. Your debt will then be spread over 52 weeks taking the money as you top up so you can't fall futher behind.

    You cannot ignore this.
  • I dont intend to let it get that far to be honest, im just sounding off. £300 per quarter or £1200 per year should be enough to cover the usage and slowly bring down the debt. Why cant they just accept that?

I don't feel sorry for you in the slightest, I do however, feel greatly for your kids having a father with such a !!!!less attitude !

PS: The word I put in there had an "E" in the middle, before the site censored it !!!

The payments he 'can't' afford are already over 52 weeks.

Do you know how much you have used in the last 12 months? Do you have your bills for the last 12 months? If so let us know how much energy you have consumed, we can then advise further but by the sounds of it £1200 per year would not cover your usage let alone the debt.
