Awwwwwwwwwwwwww she's lucky to have found you! What a lovely girl she is x
  • she is absolutely beautiful, and look how relaxed and comfy she looks - especially with all those lovely posh cushions in there!!

She looks in lovely condition now too - fab coat! So glad this story looks like it will have a happy ending - it could all have gone so differently if it wasnt for your friend and all her hard work! You have done a good job in supporting her and looking for ideas too, so well done to both of you!

This is wonderful - what a turn-a-round. She does not look like a "stray dog" now but one who is at home and well loved.

Fantastic effort, rewarded by a really happy ending. Well done.

She looks absolutely gorgeous. I almost want to get in there with her. I bet lots of stray dogs want to meet you...;)
  • She is being spoilt with the cushions etc all the neighbours that have been contributing food and offering to walk her have been fetching things for her kennel/cage thing. The cushions actually get moved onto the garden bench during the day for her as she likes to lie in the sunshine and the cushions keep her nice and comfy!

We are now looking for a proper kennel for her she doesn't want to go in the house at all (this may change when it gets cold) so we are looking at various insulated kennels etc but they are soooooooooo expensive we are thinking of getting a slightly smaller cheap kennel and lining in with polystyrene and then carpet and maybe putting some sort of swing door thing on to keep the warmth on for her just in case she still wants to be outside when the weather turns as well as making sure there are plenty of quilts and cushions inside for her. Looks like my Bob the builder side will be coming out!

How much are the insulated kennels? Do you think your friend is keeping her now? She definitely looks to be a Basset x to me, did the Vet have any idea on x? She's such a lucky Dog, you & your friend are absolute stars, it could've all ended so differently for her, must say she looks very content!
