First of all an apology, I so want to read and catch up on this thread but this week is one of those mega busy ones ( at least for someone like me who likes a slow and peaceful life) so I'm just going to have to post and run.

And a bit of good news, Hamish had his induction day at high school, and it went well ......after his couple of special needs visits I was beginning to wonder if we had made the right choice, but today was his trial session of being in with the whole school and he really liked it :j

And now I am pleased that you are all sitting down at your computers because:

Wiggly Wednesday ~ Bathroom FINISHED, completed can I have a star please :j:j:j
    Level One
    Level Two
    Level Three

Off to have a shower and make the pasta salad on my five things to do list..................

Downloaded new drivers for my printer as it wasn't playing ball... went for a quick walk (I'm only up to 8250 so far today... oops...) and have now printed off all my paperwork for my meetings this evening.

I've also had details of a job in Switzerland sent through by a headhunter... and at the moment I'm not about to say no to anything! It's worth a look... but my german is practically non-existent, so it would be a bit of a challenge!

Must get washed & changed, then walk up to the school for several hours of meetings!

Pigpen - great news. I hope you charmed the SW.

ETA - swinstie - take them out... they're just there to gather dust and spiders!

Triker, ((((hugs)))) sorry if I upset you, I was honestly being specific about Jacob's Mum's SW, and not making a general statement about everyone in the profession. It's a bl00dy difficult job, and the constraints around funding must make it feel downright impossible. But it doesn't alter the fact that Jacob's Mum's SW has behaved like a complete witch. And it was her I was referring to. :D

You didn't upset me hun, I just get fed up with general SW bashing sometimes, I know there are some really bad ones, I just hate it when everyone gets tarnished with the same brush. xxxx;)

I think teachers have a similar public perception problem, and so does HR. For the record I am more 'Green Wing' than 'Dinner Ladies'!

Really stupidly busy with self employed stuff - hopefully today should have been my last major day out. Need to do some letters for my client tonight but then I should be able to get back on track with my lists.

Hugs to everyone who needs or wants one.
