On my way back from Mr M I saw two guys peering in one of the road gully drains a few streets up. Pulled over and who should it be but my mates from the Highway Agency who I needed to call back.

Triker, ((((hugs)))) sorry if I upset you, I was honestly being specific about Jacob's Mum's SW, and not making a general statement about everyone in the profession. It's a bl00dy difficult job, and the constraints around funding must make it feel downright impossible. But it doesn't alter the fact that Jacob's Mum's SW has behaved like a complete witch. And it was her I was referring to.
Thank you everyone for your lovely comments about the talk. Dusty, stop it, you had me in tears. I don't feel brave. I've had to get a grip, because if I don't tell them in my way, then it might get messed up... from all good intentions.... like :
DD3 is bloomin annoying at times. I can say that cos I'm her Mum. The children clearly feel that she can be bloomin annoying, it's come out in some of the questions. But the school wouldn't feel comfortable saying... "yes, she can be annoying" Where I can, and will, because that's honest. But then I can explain why she does the things that are annoying. Hopefully then, they'll understand.
Gotta go, Lovely Dad and Step-Mum are here.
See you all later

Dusty - the Global Corporate Challenge that I'm doing provides a formula for converting cycling to steps. I can't link to it, as the site requires a participant login, so I'll take this down if PenPen thinks I should...
0.6miles walking=1563 steps = 3.7miles cycling
Cycling is good for you too - anything that increases your activity level. And just think how much good it will be doing your carbon footprint to leave the car at home0 -

Don't worry I didn't drive, I cycled and actually it did add to the counter (possibly not accurately as I'm now on 7935 off to pilates now.

3. make one batch of wedding cake... do I do the easy or difficult bit first?
I would do the difficult one first then you've got time to do it again should it go wrong.
I've one more question to do for my OU ECA but I'm taking a break now to have something to eat. I am hungry.
I have been feeding the washing machine and the line in between times.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life
